Onda is my bias and very underused in the group. Her voice is amazing. I think i said before i got to have a Polaroid taken with her in Louisville, and we had a breif conversation. La Di Da was the first song i heard from EVERGLOW, and it pulled me right in!

They came to my city a while back for a concert, but I had t heard of them, so didn’t go, I started listening to them and really wish I had went to see them when I had the chance, I hope they will come back

Working on listening through their entire discography right now (which unfortunately is a bit shallow, they should really have more songs) and a lot of B-sides hit pretty hard too! The comeback on June 10th will be epic. Btw, I do believe you were thinking of Onda when you asked in the video. One of my 3 wreckers in this group (yes.....I know). I agree, the fact that almost every K-pop artist has a song adressing haters is sad at this point. Some of those songs are bangers though, like this one, but it's still a bit ridiculous. There are only 3 top teir girl groups on Earth: Blackpink, BabyMons7er, Everglow. Next level down is Aespa and Itzy (with Lia). Like Blackpink and BabyMons7er all of Everglow are extremely sweet girls and great people. Onda, Aisha, and Jiwon are my favorites, but I love all of them. If Everglow was with a company who knew how to market them (YG), they would be bigger than Blackpink. Their B sides are awesome, especially the ones written by Jiwon (EU).

i have a 'holy trinity' of songs from this era of 80's inspired kpop. Twice's 'I Can't Stop Me', Sunmi's 'Pporappippam' and this. you've done 2 so far. hope you get to the third one eventually. also Onda is the girl you were referring to. she's often overlooked but really talented imo

I personally pick 'FIRST' as their best song so far. And I see EVERGLOW as a strong contender for DREAMCACHER. I think they're very different but in a similar vein. (I'm a fan of DREAMCATCHER) Anyway, I heard EVERGLOW is planning to make a comeback with a new song after a rather long hiatus, so I hope it comes back splendidly.

Chinese member, Chinese agency I have a lot to say, but it's difficult to even start talking because this is not a simple issue. This story also has a very deep connection to the United States. It started because of America. THAAD deployment (this is the US ballistic missile interception system)(It is not an offensive weapon. It is a defense system with air defense interceptor missiles..) Entering the fourth generation, K-pop no longer recruits Chinese members. Korean entertainers cannot perform in China, and movies and dramas are also banned from being imported from China. A Chinese member has become like a time bomb in K-pop. This is not the problem of this member or the company. It's a situation where you can't do this or that because you're stuck in the middle. This team was once punished by China for giving a performance to comfort stage Korean soldiers. A member of this team also posted a post supporting China's Xinjiang cotton incident. This is related to the oppression of Ugurus in Xinjiang. There was a movement by many companies, including Nike, to stop using cotton produced in this region. That's the problem. To be clear, It's not a problem with the members themselves. It is not a problem with the agency itself. China may also have its own position. The Chinese have no choice but to follow that position. However, China's position continues to clash with global standards. It is also in conflict with Korea's position. Honestly, I wish this team and company would operate in China. It continues to cause chaos.It's not their fault, but something catches fire. i love your reactions, but believe me or not kpop community don't give a s....about lyrics, they all focus on look of idols, straight beauty. So if some idol doesn't appeal much to kpop fans....they get a lot hate. And atcually Everglow and EU is great example that all kpop idols REALLY CARE what "they" said.....EU had plastic surgery, because kpop industry is toxic about beauty standard, and attitude lyrics don't give money. Btw i LOVED EU looks before:( You are new to kpop, im in since 2015 and i learn pretty quick that great talents, lyrics, amazing music doesn't matter, if you aren't in BIG company and you're not very pretty. Many AMAZING groups struggles just because all kpop fans attentions goes to Hybe, YG, SM and JYP labels. For example i Love Twice, they are my top 5 group, but i didn't buy single album, because i want spend my money for these groups which are forgotten by most fans: Ichillin, Laboum, Bvndit, Berry good, Elris/Alice cause their talents are match groups like Twice, Black Pink, Itzy, Aespa, Red velvet etc.....and their music sometimes is even better, but their labels don't have money because MAJORITY of fans buy 5 different versions of albums only big groups.
