I have now watched it, I couldn't help myself from binge watching. It's great! I normally don't like dramas about police but Killer and Healer has now become one of my favorite dramas along with WoH and The Untamed.

Agree. I just feel like this drama didn't have enough portion of promotion due to the raising popularity of WOH which was aired approximately at the same time. Killer and Healer deserves more!!
it might have due to sad ending so other people who already watched didnt recommend others to watch it because of sad ending. Its a mistake from the producers that it leads to their downfall. They shouldnt have done that
there's also that really ambiguous relationship between the opera actor and the finance executive, which instead of being sweet like the main two, is a bit more angsty and full of revenge. this show covers all bases, its honestly so good

Word of Honor is more campy as a parody of BL tropes, while Killer and Healer leans towards LGBT, and contain more mature content. They're completely different genre, with different kind of fanbase, that's why it's not recognized.
While the whole world was hailing about “Word of Honor’, I secretly indulged myself with ‘Killer and Healer’. The handsome actors were phenomenal and over all, it’s a well made drama. One of my top BL drama (Although they don’t claim it, their relationship was clearly love. Cuz you don’t look at your friend nor brother the way they do).

I agree 100%. Great review! I dropped WoH when I discovered this series and never looked back. I’m happy for Gong Jun especially who wasn’t highly rated in Advance Bravely so I’m glad people are finally giving him credit as an actor and as a BL performer. Compared to K&H though, WoH is rather simple and trite as well as less deep or emotionally satisfying. All the four male leads in this series were beyond amazing, as well as the leading women and the rest of the ensemble class. No performance was average. I hope this channel also does a video on Zhan Junbai and Boss Yu as they have a really interesting, if toxic and Ill-fated relationship, but a lot of people are hooked on them like opium too 😂

ah yes! this underrated series need more viewers. I watch this on daily basis, with or without sub. Like others, I first discovered the drama because of ian and then I kind of hooked with the stories The way chief jiang behavior changed after he met doc chen so obvious, even people around them know if you mess up doc chen, chief jiang will hunt you XD Not to give any spoiler but now the story is on rollercoaster emotion when more betrayal will occur, more death :( Hope they'll give a satisfying ending Oh! I totally forgot about their age gap because of their chemistry and the way mzj showed the affection
I also love WOH..but i love Killer and Healer too..Why is this series so underrated? This is a true masterpiece..! It's a gem..! I fell in love with it from 1st ep..I hope it gets the attention it truly deserves..Mao Zijun and Yi Bochen really did great in their acting and so the other actors..I commend all of them..people,dn't sleep on this series! You're missing half of your life..😔
This is the best BL series. Best story. Best chemistry. Best actors. Best in all even if the ending was sad. If you watch the deleted scenes you'll love this BL even more.

I'm actually watching this series. I think that it will gain in popularity as time goes on - due to social media, if for no other reason. Although the series has some problems (e.g. gross historical inaccuracies), the story is actually quite interesting. It's sort of a blend of My Roommate Is a Detective and Winter Begonia, if that makes any sense.
Thank you for making this and for adding English subtitles. I discovered “Killer and Healer” while I was waiting for the subs for “Word of Honor.” Wow, I can’t believe K&H isn’t more popular. The bond between the male leads is the heartbeat of the story. Also, all the characters , especially the bad ones, get fleshed out. With every plot twist and every sweet moment, I cared about what happened to nearly every character. Even the characters that felt flat have a chance to grow, change, and impact the story. I watched the raws marathon from ep 25 to 37. Wow, I can’t wait for the next batch of subs.
Guys it’s good! The implied couples have great chemistry. Funny too at times. The Eng subs are good and quick too. Really worth watching Although if the spoilers are correct dont expect a happy ending. 😂
The main leads have such strong chemistry and I am swooning whenever Chief Jiang wants to be with the doctor (and DAMN that hand-on-neck hold oh my ghad) lol. Yes, it is truly frustrating the broadcaster ain't doing this drama justice it deserves and cut scenes.

I loved the series, especially all the wonderful acting,Mao Zijun is the one to watch in the future,The Legend Of Hao Lan was also a great series with Mao playing one of the leads, he just disappeared into the character of prince Yiren future emperor,just a great talent, I’m looking to see his great acting in future, love this young man, he’s the one to watch
