I love the way fooster can see something almost exactly the same as something he has already seen and still be in shock

Love this game, plz continue the series! Not going to lie, that Centipede type thing scared the shit out of me.

You're so lucky to find camels on your second day, i didnt see them till like day 9. Btw at 11:46 that is a loot chest with goodies in it, a good kick starter for early game. Also, after each tremor (earth shake) those nasty centipedes will appear, so keep an eye out for them.

It avoided the water in its pathfinding, I think its afraid of water and that's why the oasis has animals. If I'm correct you should be safe from it if you go in the water.

Fuck that giant centipede scared the absolute hell out of me. This is turning out to be quiet the treat of a game. I’m loving this! The environment is just so good and the struggle makes it all the better! I’m excited for the next episode now!

That sun balm is pretty critical. Really looks like a planet in the night sky. Does that mean you’re on one of its moons? Thanks for the video, sir. Love the way you think about your character’s situation and things you would do to handle it in real life. I’m real big on learning survival knowledge myself.

Tip: remember the inscription you found at the first oasis. It helps to have multiple bases, so finding more oases is very valuable.

Love the tidbits of Fooster lore! This is such an interesting series. Feels like much higher stakes than other survival games.

The reaction on the rocks is absolutely fantastic. Remember the first carving on the rock you found. Once they find you they increase in number or something like that.

Really digging this playthrough, hope you continue!

This game is super interesting. A desert survival is definitely a new concept many games don't go for.

Decided to watch this mini-series again. Would love to see you replay this game since it just fully released this month on November 17th. Full story is nearly complete! I'm also making a guide too for the game. Can't wait to see what you do!

So glad you came back to this survival game when you first played it it seemed like you were very interested and I'm glad you're playing it because the streamer that I watched played it it was really good content but I mean come on man we love you, you know what I mean shoot, and every did you do takes us on a journey and makes us feel like we're there with you it's so awesome!!!!

People often sleep in the worst heat and move during night and the times when sun is low. The night looks good in the game, it might be intended.

This game reminds me of a game from 1995, Ravenloft: Stone Prophet. In one of the many worlds of D&D, Ravenloft is a special dimensional place whose entrances can randomly appear, and people can accidentally enter. This happens in the game and you are stuck in a specific desert area that trapped people via a wall of standing sandstorm and killing heat all around it. It's neat seeing that concept come alive in current era graphics!

Fooster, towards the beginning of the episode you mention directions and not knowing which direction you are going. You mentioned that the sun was setting which tells you that direction the sun goes down is West. If you look at your map from your first oasis you would then see that the starting building is directly West from the oasis. Apply the North, South, East, West fundamentals from there. Love the series so far!

This game reminds me of Les Stroud (Survivorman). He does things where they drop him off somewhere remote and he has to survive with next to nothing for 7 days and records everything. He was dropped off in a few deserts. He says the hardest thing is when you find that "Oasis" or a place that you feel safe and have some protection, getting up and making yourself leave that place so you can be found or find your way out. The will power needed to do that is off the charts!!!

Keep going, we are enjoying this series. When I say we I mean us, the makers. "Bless the makers and their water."

Fascinating game, only complaint I have is the immersions breaking of the new hostile creatures. Not the creatures themselves but how they react to other animals and how the other animals react to them. I was hoping that after that tremor or once the creature appeared all the other animals at the water hole would disperse but instead they acted as if they couldn’t see it, and of all the plentiful, easier to take down pray at the watering hole it chooses to attack the only one capable of properly defending itself, a human.

This game reminded me of The Long Dark. Another great survival game that Fooster made a first impressions video on back in 2015. I'd love to see a series made of that game once you get through this. Loving all the content!

And so it goes from hardcore survival to grueling survival horror. This is great. Come to think of it, isn't the desert an underutilized setting for survival and horror games and stories? A lot of Lovecraftian stories refer to and include Eldritch relics from _"The Fabled Lost Desert City of This'N'That"_ but very few of the stories themselves are actually located in a desert. 🤔

Fooster if ya were wondering if a camel is dangerous only facts ik off the top of my head is they have a strong bite that can cause serious nerve damage along with a strong kick and stomping defense if agitated. They are also good runners at 25mph for long periods of time but are rather friendly and wouldn't attack a human

I like to imagine that all of Foosters characters are the same guy with really bad luck. Like he gets sent to a zombie island (scum) but then gets shot up to a whole different planet (Icarus) and on the way back gets stranded on an island (stranded deep) and now his awful luck got him stuck in the desert
