Charlotte was a traumatic experience for me lol. The first half is absolutely nothing like the second half... the second half is so sad and brutal, there was so much suffering for little kids... I was shocked by how they flipped a switch on the story like that. It was great storytelling and I highly recommend it
@@I_am_Atomic_So this one had many unique moments. Like the part about the girl's brother was sad while touching too. The one where the blind girl(singer) goes to meet him and he is screaming trying to sing in his own way. 😢
He literally faced off against the while world to be with her. W mans the anime was so good. I watched it on a whim from a friend's recommendation not expecting much but watched it all in one sitting and ended up crying a bit

This is the first anime I watch and I'm starting to like the whole episode of this anime. And since I've done watching this anime. I'm starting to watch another anime and enter the "Anime World". And tbh, I really like Yu Otosaka daughter Ayumi Otosaka because she so beautiful in every scene she's play. Really Masterpiece.
Then you realised to what extent this guy would do for the girl, his friends, his older brother and especially his younger sister. This dude is a champ. The material for a husband, a good brother and a good homie. But mostly the best brother any younger siblings could ever wish for.
!!Spoiler alert!! At the end the main character the boy had amnesia and he asks the girl the sister is shipping her brother with who she is to him cause he can't remember anyone and she says "I'm your girlfriend" 🥹❤️
Its so sad that now people are Loving this anime but back then people hated the writter of this anime because of ending. This is one of the fav anime of mine.
@@basharff3694 actually people loved this anime but it's just that the ending was not good enough because Everything in this anime was Funny in the beginning but Then his sister died, after that they show us the story of his big brother and how they all forget about him, His big brother lost his Visions and he can't see anything then his brother lost his best friend, after that the mc went on a world tour to save everyone from this Different power so that they can live normally it was 30 percent funny and rest was Sad and emotional so people wanted a good ending for this anime but even I am saying this the ending was not satisfactory enough he even forgets the girl who he loved, but he did something good, atleast that girl claims herself his gf and that's why I am not complaining but I am not completely satisfied with the ending and that's why people hate the writter so much that he isn't writting anything now and he is not well too I m feeling bad for him now.

For me the sudden change in the the story was great as it didn't suddenly come ,but gradually as the mc lost his little sister he got depressed and started looking for ways to not think about his depression the only thing here that annoyed me is the fact that that the white haired girl only intervened was when he was about to start taking the (I can't say it without RU-vid deleting my comment) even though she was watching him going through all of that the rest of the story was great
@@basharff3694 because she wasn't sure if she can do anything or not but yeah when he was fighting those bullies that was really dangerous but atleast she saved him from taking drugs.

I watched it several years ago and was absolutely traumatized from it. And I seriously did not know where I watched or the name of it so for a while I thought that I seriously hallucinated the whole show. Don't get me wrong, it very strongly changed my perception of anime in whole and I LOVED that it wasn't as predictable as other shows and became one of my favorite shows overall. But HECK DID IT BREAK MY HEART💔❤️🩹
I watched this thinking this was some lightweighted, funny show, and it is good, but you should absolutely not expect a lightweighted experience, I had to get my shit together for like an hour straight after I think around episode 8
The one thing i dont like about this anime is the way he gets pulled out of it, he goes insane, beats the shit out of people, yet some random girl he knew for a month is able to pull him out of it simply by talking for 10 seconds, keep in mind hes been insane for over a month now. Also for some reason she was following him yet didnt do anything to stop until the last second, where he is most insane, where it should be the hardest to pull him out. And then the rice omelette is the nail in the coffin, why does some random girl cooking his dead sisters meal make him ok again, personally i would be pissed as hell because why tf are you using my dead sisters whose death is partly her faults cooking to cheer me up, and why would you wait you could’ve done something sooner but you didnt, let alone her invisibility is only to 1 person so shouldnt she have been getting weird looks the whole time, like why wasnt she noticed in any of the battles it was shown she was there. And why didnt he just use hid mind swap to make her run away from him, personally i think it makes no sense. Still its an amazing anime
I have never seen a better anime and all it takes for those two to date it traveling the whole world loosing all of his memories and going through hell itself
As fas as i can remember i probably watched it in 2016 and yeah it's definitely one of the best animies i've watched so far. But the ending was so rushed they should make a season where they expand the existing story like horimiya s2 missing pieces.
A very very cool and singular anime. It touched me in many ways, i'm usually not that much emotional but it hit different when it comes to Charlotte...
Maaaaaaaaan whyd they have to have the ending they did. A lot of people I know say "it was good to end it the way it did, rushing the anime's ending was for the better" but I can't stand by that no matter how many times it gets told to me. They did a good job with what they had, but my dissapointment is that they DIDNT have more time to flesh out the ending.
Dont be blinded by the first half of the series and all these good times.... You may get traumatized after seeing how it ends. (Most people dont but i did, since i over think a lot.) Spoiler on ending: A LOT OF STUFF HAPPENS, HW TRAVELS THE WORLD TO END ALL POWERS(THATS THE PLOT OF STORY, WATCH FOR MORE INFO) THE GIRL PROMISED TO DATE HIM ONCE HE RETURNS. HE RETURNS, BUT THIS TIME... HE LOST ALL OF HIS MEMORIES. The Heartbreaking part is, in that scene when he asked who she was, she smiled and said "IM YOUR GIRLFRIEND!" *That smile was hiding lot of stuff behind it*
Spoilers ahead. They date finally. But Yuu (male) forgets everything later. Ofc his gf included. He's loosing his mind. Anime is depressive af. But worth watching.
The ending is super sad, but it's also the best episode due to how much cool new stuff, ideas, combos, abilities, exc. That they came up with for ONLY 1 episode and somehow fit 2 years of his life in the span of like 20 minutes, and made his trip BELIEVABLE. You could see how he started losing his sanity, why he was losing it, and exactly when in his trip, he broke just a bit more. I won't spoil exactly what happens, but it's got a REALLY slow story, with lots of build-up. It's definitely worth watching 100% just once at least. After that, the last episode really did a good job of balancing everything in a way that it explains why he does what he does with references to the past episodes that are indirect, but for us who know it's like he relived a memory that we know what he's thinking.

This very anime made me an anime lover right after watching it. I just watched it 5 hours ago as of making this comment and I gotta say, I didn't expect how it would end while I was watching the last episode. But it had a really good ending I should say! I knew from the start he had a thing for Nao, and it ended up really well! All I gotta say is that this anime has been the best I've watched so far at least, I haven't really watched any other anime besides a few ones but this one really makes me enjoy these stuff more than before! 10/10, would recommend watching it!
He literally traveled the entire world stealing other people’s powers and gave himself brain damage before they even had hopefully genuine feelings for each other. The reason why I say hopefully is because it took them to go through A LOT of trauma to even START liking each other.
For those who are here planning to watch this ...and don't know anything.... prepare yourself for this one...I mean mentally..... Tears will fall .so tissue is in need

***SPOILERS**** Only took him losing his sister, going on a depressed psycotic episode where he beat the shit out of a ton of people, finding out he had a brother who could time travel, taking said power then using it to save his siter but also endanger the rest of the individuals like him, then go on this insane crusade to steal every power on the planet to ensure they are never abused and losing his sense of self and all memory he had of his previous life for the two to get together. This anime was a fuckihg roller-coaster
