Their title tracks definitely follow their Stray Kids formula of powerful beat drops, unusual samples, onomatopoeia, and the Felix bass voice feature (Maniac and Case 143 being great examples for recent releases). Their b-sides and singles tend to pull from a lot of different styles and showcase their musical diversity. They are known for the high-energy bangers, but can easily transition to softer ballads, moody/sexy r&b tracks, bright/easy dance tracks, etc. Some diverse recommendations if you'd like to keep checking them out: FAM (Korean version M/V) (fun rap track where each member introduces another member of the group) Easy Back Door (considered the sequel to God's Menu as the members leave through the back door at the end of the God's Menu M/V) Chill Venom Levanter The View Chronosaurus Mixtape: Time Out Red Lights, Surfin', Gone Away (these are three unit songs where members divided up into small groups and wrote very different songs) The Tortoise and the Hare (experimental rap track - no M/V but lyrics videos are accessible on YT) Scars (a Japanese track that combines softer lyrical concepts with powerful backing) - they did a live version on The First Take YT Channel that is a brilliant example of their vocal prowess
Stray Kids don't really have a formula, you just happened to listen to songs that have the same structure! They have hundreds of songs and they've experimented with genres a lot. You actually never know what to expect from them nowadays cause they love to try out different genres. For example in their album Oddinary there's a song named "Freeze" which is quite literally dubstep. Another song that I really enjoy from them that's very different is Side Effects. They also have a lot of slower or "happier" songs. One thing that they take a lot of pride in is how diverse their discography is. That means that there is something for everyone! They also produce their own music and have 100% control over everything including lyrics, composition, arrangements, lyric distribution, album/mv concepts, etc. They do get help sometimes from producers because they can't do everything themselves of course. It would be exhausting. If you wanna get to know them more, I highly recommend reacting to a guide! The most detailed one so far is from TeaNoSuga and it's the "Long but updated 2022 guide"! She's working on a 2023 one but this is the most updated and accurate one out there currently.
funny coz in their relay dance for this, they did the gods menu choreo during the chorus (but yeah, thunderous lowkey mimics god's menu to drive a point to their haters that they love their not sorry and are dirty while adding new and more interesting elements in this song) the whole song (and other hype songs in this album, NOEASY) just mocks their haters
omg thank you so much for reacting to skz seriously enjoyed it. SKZ's songs are very diverse in style but always keep their essence, I would really love if they react to MANIAC AND BACK DOOR.
Hi! Just gonna leave my suggestions and praises here lol: Maniac, and Circus. I love this channel and I love watching the admiration form sooo quickly! It takes amazing people to be so open. It's a beautiful thing!
SKZ is known for always changing up their music and always bringing something new but for some odd reason u always know it's them. They always change it up and just blow me away every time My suggestions: Back Door Easy Venom Freeze Cheese Domino
agree and i am not a fan i only hear their song on other videos and stuff but i know it´s them but i think all of their title songs follow the same formula. the hard hitting stange noise like i call it hehe. but if they have ballades too i might check them out. but i think it´s important to love their title songs mainly because that is songs you always hear. but funny enough i feel the same for most kpop. i am really not a fan of title tracks excepts for bts´s but i have heard b-sides witch i love by other artists. i think it´s because it´s more layed back in the production.
I really like your videos…it’s very interesting. They have so many genres and they mix genres. They do EDM, rock, rap and just mix the style. I love their music
-recommending “fam” and “case 143” it’s stray kids first official love song to me all of their music sounds different and they don’t really stick to a specific musical structure
I think you would really enjoy listening to Stray Kids SCARS from the First Take. Since you're vocalists, it would be interesting to see your take on a One Take vocal. It is also an incredibly beautiful song that will resonate with things you've talked about in the past. I'll message this on Pateron as well, but I do think it would be a great listen for you to experience. Here is a link to the performance. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mDw95b-YyEc.html They have been around since 2017 as a group and debuted 3/25/2018 and are under JYP (which is one of the BIG 3) and also include Twice and ITZY among others. Their company has money lol.
Please react to more stray kids!! I recommend their song “FAM [korean ver.]” It’s like a introduction song to each members so you can somewhat know a bit more of them. It’s a super fun song!!!
stray kids are soooo unique!! the write and produce all their own songs which unfortunately is not that common in kpop. this album Noeasy (a word play on the word Noisy) is basically one big clapback to their haters. unfortunately they do get a lot of hate bc of how experimental they are with different genres. they’re also amazing live performers! stray kids are extremely versatile, they actually are one of the few groups that don’t have fixed positions (like lead vocalist, main dancer etc), they’re all extremely good at everything. stray kids aren’t afraid to speak their minds especially through music. they have really touching songs. some of their songs are upbeat but some of them actually talk really deeply. they’ve made songs about the fear of growing up, about being depressed, insomnia, an obsession/addiction to working too much, toxic relationships etc. they’re also extremely funny even if the joke itself isn’t funny, their reactions are so funny that you just can’t help but laugh! some other songs you would like by them are: Red Lights, Venom, Freeze, Domino (this one has no music video but there are lyrics and a dance practice vid, i highly recommend the dance practice), Cheese (it’s another clapback to their haters), The Sound, FAM (a cute intro song to all the members), Mixtape: Time Out and one of my personal favorites Charmer! if you like their choreography, you should definitely check out their dance practices to see more of the choreo for their songs!! you should also check out a guide (preferably a 2022 or 2023 guide)
They are under JYP, it’s one of the biggest entertainment companies in South Korea. In the past there were 3 big companies: SM, YG and JYP but after BTS got huge now Hybe is also huge and probably the biggest company
