2016 black Metallic's the shape was off on them they did not have the same shape as the 1990 OF pair did and the tongue was to tall on the 2016 pair hope the 2025 pair will look just like the 1990 OG pair

What it is Mike Rich 🤙 PS- I was also 8 years old in 1990 and the Black AJ5 Metallics OG was my first ever Air Jordan sneakers that my pops got for me after I begged him lol. Rest in Peace to my Dad…an amazing father and great man. We didn’t have much $ growing up, but he always got me the kicks I wanted when I was a kid. Metallic 5s are the sneaker that got me into sneakers. ✌️
I was 12 years old in 1990 when the 5's dropped and I had every OG colorway except the Grapes.. My buddy had them and I was so jealous.. I have gotten every release of the 5's and I can't wait for these so I can retire the '16 pair

Mike we came up around the same time (born in 82 also) i remember when the 12s dropped in 12th grade. This lil foot chic used to have ALL the Js i was slick jealous too lol. But i was still rockin my 11 IEs the gray pair. 5s are grails to me cause my cousin had them and i didnt. Used to draw pics of them in my trapper keeper lol
1990 my fifth grade class took a trip to the mall during Christmas time... I wanted these so bad at the time. Never got the metallics. I've had many other OG flavors tho. Black tongue and silver tongue amongst others
