Mast, you are what the smite community needs, but probably doesn’t deserve. We can be so salty sometimes. You on the other hand are both chill, and informative. I am glad you play smite, because I have a feeling you would be successful no matter what game you played. Thank you for being you.

Yes to the noob vids, can you also include tips for picks and bans for ranked?
@Fyx5010
@Fyx5010 5 лет назад
Realistically, he could do a video on how to choose picks and bans for ranked. However, ranked is not “competitive”, which means that most pro league gamers choices on picks and bans are done considering that the gods they choose and ban are played at the top level of experience. What this means for you is that most picks and bans are irrelevant to ranked. One game, someone might ban Freya, and then in another game, someone might choose freya but completely miss her ranged autos and choke on her abilities. It’s a good idea to adhere to most pro league’s choices on picks and bans, and for that, I recommend watching the Season 6 SPL. You’re going to ban top pick Gods, like Achilles, Serqet, Arachne, Jing Wei, Fannir, Jorm, Merlin, Ah Muzen Cab, etc.

I was a complete noob just recently, I played at release then stopped, played again at some point, then stopped, never bothered. I wanted to play more and I started watching your videos. Luckily I'm good at picking stuff up so just watching your videos and picking stuff up from you was a great help, but there wasnt any direct feedback to me. As I am now, I'm just making assumptions about my game decisions based on what you normally do, to see some noob directed content with some thought into exactly what to do in order to learn would be great. Especially along the lines of "here's what I'd normally do and why I do it" so those of us just emulating you can adjust and add that stuff to our normal gameplay. Hope this provides some insight into that, but I think many people would enjoy that kind of video. Even if they don't do well initially (idk how many people who watch you are noobs) it would definitely bring in the noon audience like me. Edit:I'm also a player who is anxious about joining the ranked scene and some other commentors pointed out pick ban help. Some noob guids on how to get into ranked would be fantastic too.

Best tip, don't stress just play how you want and remember to have fun. If you arnt enjoying the game you will never be playing at your best. You won't win every match that's fine, plus you have teammate so try and communicate with them when able.

I say make the videos because they do help and are very informative! I will say that my game play and knowledge has gone significantly up after watching a lot of your videos! I appreciate that you take the time to explain what you're building, why you're building it, and what it does. So in depth. I also enjoy the fact that you throw in a slight explanation of how you're suppose to rotate and objectives and how to play conquest!!!

As someone who is always trying to convince their friends to learn smite, I absolutely think that with your positive attitude and informational style, you would do an amazing job making guides. I can't say I'd watch them all, but I'd certainly be recommending your videos to my buddies. Also as a side note, I think it would be very valuable to have videos showing how to stay relevant from behind, as well as how to farm efficiently when ahead to keep the ball rolling.

I believe that it would bring in a bigger audience especially when it comes to players that really want to get better. I came to your channel not only for your builds, but for the concept of being able to know what to build on the right gods and how the gods themselves actually function. You really do go in depth when it comes to how to play gods, but I feel like an all out general feedback on how you play against gods that you not only expect but to tune build a God that doesnt pair with the God that you are going against that also go with the God you play with as far as damage, defense, etc. I only leave this comment because I am currently attending college for game design and I feel like this was just something that fit my attire to comment on. Thanks Mast!

You have by far the best Smite gameplay commentary. Other Smite and (insert game) content creators usually create videos specifically aside from their usual videos as "commentary" or "guides". I think you just need to specify your videos as "guides", because you explain your gameplay in depth in every video you make, already. I've always watched you mainly because your commentary is #1 in the Smite community. It's not even close.

Mast! Xbox player here. Your personality is fantastic on here! I thoroughly enjoy the way you break down the game. Even on your typical videos you do a thorough job. If u did a noob centered video, I'd even watch it as a veteran player. You are really engaging to the audience so I say go for it!! Youd be surprised how much we learn just seeing you play the gods you play. If u broke it down further, I believe it will only benefit the community! You're amazing man! Keep up the good work!

That guide sounds great man, after playing for just under a year I feel like I’m starting to get a grasp on the fundamentals of more abstract role related things and positioning. If I had that in the beginning it sure as hell would’ve made my experience a lot more enjoyable and I probably would’ve branched our to different gods more often. That being said watching your base content and playing in a competitive environment is also really beneficial to watch, keep up the great work man much love.

I really like the idea of you making videos for newer players. This game was my first real lane based game. I think maybe even going over certain items like when to use spear of magus versus spear of desolation would be useful as well. I know that kind of stuff seems like common sense, but the sheer amount of items to learn when you first start can be overwhelming for new players.

YES! Beginner friendly vids would awesome!! You've got the charisma to make anything sound interesting for those that are long time Smite players. Something like SoloRenektonOnly, he explains what hes doing and what hes thinking based on what his knowledge is on the hero hes playing and who hes against as well as what his build paths and skill paths are based on what hes trying to go for or who hes against. Ill keep watching your videos regardless. Keep up the good work man. Also if you can fit it in there positioning in team fights, general purpose or role in the game, objective plays and general map/lane control based on certain criteria.

I think it's a great idea to go into positioning and stuff like that, there really isn't any kind of resource out there to help people learn that, it's really just a trial by fire and players mess it up until they figure it out for themselves, so I love the idea, might be a cool idea to go onto rotations, that was the most confusing thing for me, knowing when to rotate and how as a guardian

Sounds like a great idea, and I think it would be useful not only for completely new players but also players like myself. I have played for a few years but always very casually. I play on average maybe one or two games of conquest per day and I would like think that I do okay. But because I play casually and don't really aspire to work hard in the game, I haven't really put much active thought into things like positioning and matchups and builds (for builds I normally just pick from the popular items as I play whatever god and role suits my mood and try to counterbuild when there's an obvious reason for it). TL;DR: Great idea, and I can see it being useful not only for completely new players.

I think something really helpful would be a general guide on how counters. I’ve played Smite for quite some time, and I still suck at figuring out how to counter something. I recognize what the problem is, that I should counter, but can’t really act on that knowledge. The only thing I really found online were specific counters, which is nice if that’s the situation I’m in, but once something comes up I don’t know, I’m screwed. If there was a guide that could teach me how to devise a counter strategy on the fly, that would be really helpful

Mast, I'd love it if you could cover counter picking and banning. It's a pretty broad topic and probably would take a lot of time, but you should cover it and give examples of counter matchups and situations where like your team already has 1 god to counter healing so there's less importance on another. That type of thing. That's not for me though. What I'd love for you to cover is if theres any tactics you have to counter duo holding waves while you're behind, there's too many situations where I've been behind as the carry the other is holding wave and if I push up I die, and I'm useless in teamfights. Sometimes it maybe just be a waiting game but maybe you have some thoughts on it. Trying to learn how to play carry a lot better. Keep up the vids!

I would have loved basic learning guides when learning, there was nothing to help me and I struggled until I just quit. Then I started back years later. You should do it

Can you explain why Weak3n and other jungle players clears blue before xp camps? I just find it weird when you told in one of your other videos that its a bad idea. Btw i would love some more noobfriendly videos. I think that it would really help the channel. Have a great day

It's not a bad idea at all, it stops early invades and allows your solo to go in a bit more sooner than usual. Mast is just an idiot thinking he knows meta. Love his vids, but he has no idea on S6.
