@@stoleethatsmethey OWN the property, that is their MORTGAGE payments, not rent! You can’t pay $1,500 in any metropolitan area for a mortgage today! So you are ignorant for just looking at the small amount of money paid and not the big picture! Name any metropolitan place in America that you can pay less than $1,500 a month for a small home, in a safe smart micro-home community? Stop being negative and a hater!

@@vetgirl71, well I live in a Townhome community and guess what? I don’t have a Mortgage. Paid cash. Turns out many of the neighbors did the same.The neighbors who have a mortgage its less than a Thousand. I’m not being negative. I’m looking at past History, what happens to places like that. Rosewood, Ernestine ect.That same threat exist this day and time now they use Gentrification .

As a Black woman, I’ve longed to see the day when our community could unite, heal, and rise above the divisions that have held us back. For so long, we’ve been taught to mistrust each other, but now I see the changes-Black people building together, like we did after World War I, before it was destroyed. I’m filled with pride and gratitude to witness this movement of growth, respect, and love. It’s been my dream to see us embrace each other, and now, I’m eager to be a part of this powerful change. @Louie.v2k23 I’m kind of sick of people constantly believing that the south is still inexpensive. Yeah maybe if you live in a small rural town in Alabama. But Atlanta and the metro Atlanta are not cheap and we’re #2 behind Arizona with inflation. It’s been expensive.. but that mindset is the reason why companies in Atlanta still try and underpay their employees. The south is NOT cheap.

Love this idea! I recently went to the Caribbean and there was a neighborhood with micro homes, same model just different colors it was so inviting. That neighborhood stood out more to me then the mansions.

I’m a solo retired sistah in Oakland, CA. I would love to move from my dilapidated apartment but it’s all i can afford. Rents here start at $2500/mo for a studio-that’s my entire monthly income! I dreamed about living in a community like the one you created, but need to stay in Cali near my 92 yr old mom. Any plans on building here? I know the area so could help you navigate the area😊

I pray you expand to bringing these types of homes all over the country. I live in Las Vegas. A 2 bed 2 bath in safe quiet neighborhoods is between 17 to over 2100. I’ve been renting a 5 bed 3 bath home for 9 years. To help family members who were struggling to get back on their feet. My mother raised me to be that way, and that’s how my grandmother raised her. I’m 63 now and want 2 down size. I pay 2625 now and next year it’ll go up to 2733.

I watched an extended family do something similar in our area. Incredibly smart. That's how we build generational wealth. Green power and greenhouses are also brilliant ideas to add to the equation. Love it!
