I think Ronnie used inspiration from The music video Lucky you with Em and Joyner, when they both are out there with their hands up and doing different things and the other people were mimicking them.
You're taxed on the money you make, taxed on the money left over that you spend. You're taxed kn the money you save for retirement. You're taxed on the property you purchaed with taxed income remains.
13:47 fr. This song isn’t even a song anymore. It’s a movie. Falling in reverse goes crazy on the songs they post. Probably the best artist at this moment. 😀😀🔥🔥🔥👑👑👑🚨🚨🚨🚨😀😀😀👑👑👑👑🔥🔥🔥🔥
I don't know if it's mostly influenced by the imagery, but when he winds up nailed to the cross his voice is SO similar to, and as powerful as, Ted Neely in the Jesus Christ Superstar movie (and productions after). Very Andrew Lloyd Weber/Broadway Rock-ish. See the video "Jesus Christ Superstar | Gethsemane (I Only Want to Say)" (slow ballad until the three minute mark).
Am I the only one who thinks that the whole scheme of what’s been happening from FIR’s music is the RAPTURE? I don’t mean this is a religious way the perspective I see is that Ronnie sees the world turning to disarray, I would agree things aren’t what they used to be… so his music is meant to bring a “reawakening” or in other words a rapture. The realization of one’s faults and accomplishments. Where do we lie? Are we making the world a better place or are we “Left Behind” to reflect and mend?
I'm new to Falling in Reverse, I actually discovered them through a reaction channel's cover version of one of their songs.. But i'm so here for them and all of this now! This is so good.
There's a segment in this song that gave me some Tom McDonald vibes. Speaking of: Can you imagine a Collab with FIR and Tom? Personally, I think that it would absolutely obliterate the internet, not just break it.
Ur right, altho did u notice that the only people that r tagged r pregnant women that r ready 2 give birth. There aren't many that catch that, they do catch on2 them being tagged but not the other. I❤that watching their videos feels like ur watching a mini movie. Ronnie is a musical genius with the songs themselves as well as the videos.
The new Album is the track list of videos to watch from everything I've read.... He formed Falling In Reverse while he was still in prison. 11:00 My parents bought their first house in '77 for $10,000 or something like that (of course my dad was making pretty good money for back then, he got $6/hour, the downside was hearing damage, threat of dismemberment or death). it was 3 bedrooms and ~950 sqft. that house was on a corner lot where today, they'd try to put up 3 different houses (we lived there until 1990). it was listed for sale around 2017 or so for over 135k. . . it's bananas! (Small town Oklahoma)
I didn't think he could top what he had already done but he keeps proving me wrong. This is soooo damn good and there's so much symbolism, I've watched this video several time just trying to pick up on everything and all the messages he put in the video.
I find it hilarious that people automatically think he’s being blasphemous. He’s not portraying himself as Jesus, he’s illustrating that he has been (publicly) crucified. Religious nuts losing their minds right now 😂
Ronnie was lead singer of escape the fate but he was fired when he went to prison. He was there when a fight broke out and a person died as a result of it he served two and half years of a 5 year sentence. He formed falling in reverse in prison they waited for ronnie to be released. He wrote the drug in me is you album in prison the shot video for the song when he was released in 2011 the video came out in 2012
I heard all 4 songs and wasnt sure how I felt. The Escape the Fate line is what made me know I needed to give this song another chance. I also listened to it before the video which gives it a lot more meaning. I love the rock/rap genre Ronnie does so well and hope he preforms this one live!
Subbed mate. 🇦🇺👍 Loved your reaction at the end, “Oh my god this is fucking amazing”. Explains the whole Journey of not only this song, but entire album. Then you just sat there and took it in. Well played mate 👏 And yes, good bringing up emotional intelligence. Something that’s in decline these days Again mate 👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥
You have to catch up so much! Welcome in the trip! ;) In order to appreciate more, it s better to know a bit about ronnie's life and his struggles with social medias
I always enjoy your reactions and you are definitely one of my favorite reactors to go to for not only the reaction, but your love and passion for music. I can always tell what you are thinking by watching your facial expressions and body movements and that's better than words
I'm from one of the post-soviet countries. Our grandparents were able to receive an apartment for free. The more kids\the bigger a family is - the bigger apartment they could get. Now me, 28 yo, if I want to buy an apartment, I have to contact a bank and get money for around 350-400% interest. Renting is literally cheaper in the long run.
I mean I like Falling in Reverse but everytime I'm listening to this I can't help but feel like it's a little ripped off of NF-Clouds. The cadence feels very similar. Though no disrespect to any part of this song and/or video. It's visually amazing and even if a portion of the cadence feels that way it doesn't stay that way for long with Ronnie.
3:41 Ronnie went to jail for 2 years and Escape the Fate kicked him out if the group while he was locked up. He wrote the first album for Falling in Reverse while in prison.
Also... even though Ronnie has a few bars in here that can be interpreted with a broad brush on society as a whole, I feel like this song (this entire album really) is extremely personal and he is speaking a LOT to his massive herd of haters.
The context is biblical, but with a very Nietzschean sense. At the beginning of the video, he receives a crown, but it disappears. Unlike Christ, he has no love or compassion, and he sparks a revolution. This revolution leads him to the cross, but when contested by heaven or hell, by good or evil, he refuses to play the game. Like Nietzsche, he places himself beyond good and evil. Ronald is the Übermensch?
Or the tags represent what a commodity we are with our data. We're all grazing like cows on the internet & social media and they sell all of our data to the highest bidder.... it's in their best interest to keep us addicted with our faces in our phones.
Dune meets Terminator meets Reality. Vision brings Art and mixed with the music is delivering something beyond, something new, different, very expressive and every new video just takes it one more step further. Great to be here for this.
