Anime Rimuru doesnt beat Goku at all. But if you read the lignt novels, Rimuru absolutely destorys Goku and the entire Dragon Ball cast. Yes, Zeno included. I'm not gonna get deep into it, but Rimuru's abilties far surpasses anything Goku currently has. On top of all that, Rimuru actually knows about Goku and his abilties (which really isn't a major spoiler tbh) since he read or still reads Dragon Ball which gives Rimuru a huge advantage if they were to ever fight. Edit: From my understanding, apparently anime Rimuru is also beating the whole Dragon Ball verse.

Tensura(Slime) doesn't really have a planet exploding but more so Several characters are 'implied' to be capable of doing it. Since they only have one world they live in, they quite literally hold back even in a life-or-death fight and mostly use swords and other single-opponent attacks. In the latest in the Light Novel, two enemies even needed to work together to make a barrier so that the world wouldn't be destroyed in their fight. We even have a character that throws nukes for fun, and she even uses an attack that if ever gets the formula wrong a black hole can appear and destroy the planet.

Every single Slime OP is freaking S tier. Every. Single. One. Also, you missed one. Look up "Slime Diaries OP" for the last one. It's technically a spin-off, but the OP is just as good as the rest.

Where they're currently at in the anime, it's probably comparable to around the Namek arc in terms of power, where they could destroy a planet if they really tried, but hold back constantly. Where they are in the Light Novels right now... well, Rimuru is considered god level and things are far from done at this point. The real impressive thing is control though.... but describing it would go too far into spoiler territory even just considering the current point in the anime.

It is not a full class shonan show so you can't expect Galaxy exploding of Universe exploding in the openings. But you can see god level fight's in the anime. Like goku Rimuru is not fully powerful at at the beginning. But the rumer's are currect. He can beat Goku with entire DBS verse at one shot. Rimuru is in top 10 strongest anime character's so you know who powerful he is. Goku is not even close to top 50 strongest character's.

Anime Rimuru is around namek to android saga power level, but if you were talking about light novel Rimuru then the entire DB verse is dead in a matter of seconds (even if all of them team up). Rimuru would quite literally just eat the verse for breakfast.

this show has progressive strength early Rimuru while strong is not planet level and higher but by the end of the series Rimuru definitely beats Goku, unless Goku gets some super overpowered ability in the manga (last thing i remember him getting was masterd Ultra Instinct), well not that Goku is not strong Rimuru just has so many hax abilities by the end of the series.

Why the hell are you so hung up on a random "__ vs Goku" post that are always cringe af? The openings don't show literally anything about Rimuru's powers so really not surprised you still have no idea what he does. Rimuru isn't on a planet buster level as far as I'm aware but he's got his very strong gimmicks and physically he's not weak. Namek Goku+ has the clear advantage but we also don't know if certain powers would work on Goku. It's theoretically possible Rimuru could win but if Goku wants to completely obliterate Rimuru from the start then no way would he survive. Goku can literally destroy him and whatever planet they're on and instant transmission somewhere else. Rimuru has amazing regeneration abilities but it's not like Goku hasn't fought foes like that anyways. I really hate people comparing anyone from a different anime to Goku because power scaling in Dragon Ball is ridiculous. Rimuru is one the strongest characters in his series. It makes no sense why the two of them are put on the same scale. If Goku was toned down to Rimuru's power level and they had an honest fight to the death on equal ground with their respective abilities than Rimuru wins easily and it's not even close. The sad thing is I'm the only one that's likes comparing characters equal to each other instead of the scaling of the series they're from.
