My name is Chrome i have been living in y cargo van for 6 years now. I started this lifestyle BROKE and IN DEBT and after 11 months of living the van life i cleared my debt and started to put my life back together and build for a better future. I have turned my original van into a badass camper van that is lifted with all the toys. Over the years i went from being broke and stealth camping in the city and sleeping at walmarts... to now, living fulltime in a jacked up van and driving deep off-grid into the backcountry and living life in the dirt. WOW LIFE HAS CHANGED.

What about a cooling mat for Cruz? You can get them in pet stores. The cooling gel inside reacts to the weight put on it. They’re also great for humans on hot days. No sweating while seating.

Hi Chrome, in the States, we have your preferred carrier come pick up your outgoing shipments. Negotiate a shipping rate with a carrier. Work smarter not harder. Amanda processes the orders and puts it in a cloth dump chute that drops to dump bin with wheels on ground floor. Carrier comes on a regular pick up schedule and they load on their truck. Bada Bing...work is done! Really enjoying the businees that you are building. Keep it up! Cruz is a rockstar too!

Canada Post doesn’t have such a service. And though the chute idea is great for soft unbreakable goods, some of the items being shipped from up there will definitely be breakable. ✌️

@Makeitbymandy The takeaway is not to duplicate work on e-commerce as sales grow. UPS, FedEx, DHL have shown up with deliveries on the show. They should have a pick up service with negotiated rates. Of course you would not drop breakable items down a chute. But right now, shirts and stickers are being shipped. Just a thought for Chrome to focus on what he loves to do...trips to the outdoors and share daily van life.

I love how you keep it real, Chrome. We appreciate minimal advertisements but we know you have to make a living also. It won’t hurt my feelings if I see an add or two. I know it will benefit you. I literally woke up this morning, took a a few sips of coffee while looking out my back window of my house and thought, I wish I could have the same feeling that Chrome does in the morning while sipping coffee, looking out the van window of his van and living his dream. I always rhought your bin system was smart. Especially for kit-like stuff such as polishing or body work. In this bigger shop, it will really be helpful to take a bin to various places. I think you'll want at least one of those rolling carts with a shelf to move around bins and batches of tools.
