I imagine that if Tanjiro became a demon, that Muzan would make him think that he is helping people by killing them, and giving them release to be with their families. Or something like that, I just made that up lol.

The lore: So Tanjiro was on a mission and met a new lowermoon that can make u psycho, Tanjiro was infected and the lowermoon didnt do anything and just vanish. Few days later after that he started the get the urge to kill random people so he started killing citizens, then it led to demons, and eventually ONE demon slayer. The master and the corps was worried and Sanemi jumped to conclusions thinking its Nezuko's fault but its really not. A week later almost ten demon slayer corps were killed and Tanjiro decided he should start killing HASHIRA. (Mind you he was controlled by a psychotic demon so its not rlly his fault) He killed Shinobu Kocho the insect hashira so she was replaced by Kanao after she used Insect breathing (still uses flower breathing on stronger demons) so she was basically the "Half breather" hashira. The day Kanao was replaced he didnt kill her and wanted her to grow to his level so they could fight equally. Months later LOTS of hashira were killed and were replaced thankfully, but a blessing came when after 4 months there was ANOTHER hashira. Tanjiro stepped it up by killing AMANE. This immediately got out of hand and Kagaya did something that would slow the killing down so: He sent the powerful hashiras, and Kakushi to spy on everyone so the demon controlling Tanjiro was already aware. Soon later he killed one of the hashira that was powerful but a heavy sleeper so that was easy ig, Ohayin (Water hashira) caught Tanjiro in the act so of course Ohayin went to tell the master but Tanjiro (hes still controlled) stabbed her with a poison katana he stole from Shinobu right after she died. (Btw this is when Nezuko conquers the sun I think) So it was the final battle and Tanjiro was fighting with his might this time to get the demon to stop. The demon eventually lost control of him and Tanjiro had to be put in jail for his actions for 2 WHOLE YEARS. In a month Seyu (Stone hashira) found out about the controlling thing and reported it to master, and after that they released Tanjiro but he didnt talk to anybody except for Kanao, His friends (they never knew), Nezuko, and Hashira he felt comfortable with. The demon slayer corps ended and everyone lived hapely ever afteru DUEH END
Once i found out the true meaning of this song i laugh my @ss of for a good 10 minutes (Jus adding the meaning of the song the song is about... BURNING YOUR BREAD BAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHA)
