In Feletto in 1825, the Serassi Brothers enclosed an orchestra in an organ! Let's pay a visit to this spectacular instrument that Maestro Valter Savant-Levet calls 'the one-man orchestra'.

The sumptuous organ of Feletto (TO) is an extraordinary instrument in many respects: from the imposing wooden case to the majestic Ripieno of 18 rows in the Basses and 20 in the Sopranos, from the rare presence of the Third division to the unusual division of the registers of the Echo division, up to one of the oldest attestations from the Albanese with its trills, a pedal-controlled mechanism that simultaneously activates: bass drum, cymbal, sistrum and rollante.
The instrument was restored by Pietro Barchietti in 1869, repaired by Angelo and Cesare Nava in 1893 and by Alfredo Cordone in 1964.
Preserved substantially intact, a fact that makes it even more unique and precious, from 2006 to 2009 it underwent a long and painstaking restoration that brought it back to full functionality and restored its original phonic and mechanical characteristics.
All this took place against the backdrop of "a compelling story that reveals to us a Feletto of the early 19th century dotted with influential people, lovers of music and art, eager to equip their church with the best that the Organ Art of the time could offer". (Adriano Giacometto)
