Also, thank you everyone for the support on my channel! I'm not used to replying to comments, so I'll do my best when it comes to replying to them! If you liked this video, please make sure to share and subscribe. I'm currently working on a VRC video with the Tundra Trackers, so stay tuned! Thanks everyone and I'll see you in the next one!
Nice video! Good summary of everything too. I just got my SW7 kit yesterday and I like it so far! There's an issue when I'm charging them though, when I plug it into a USB charger the LED lights stay pink/red for a long time so I don't know if they're charging correctly. I'm using standard fast chargers for cell phones, but are they supposed to be plugged into a computer or something?
Thanks for sharing! Yeah, mine turn on when plugged in, I think its normal, but they will charge if you plug them in! So you shouldn't have a problem with that! Thanks for asking for clarification! *And no, they can be plugged into a wall brick of any standard phone charger.
How do you get the dongle to pair? I got my dongle but it’s having trouble pairing up with the vive tracker, at least the 3rd tracker doesn’t want to pair.
You pair it the same way you would pair it with a normal VIVE Tracker. Click on the top left, (three lines) and hover over *devices* and then click Pair Controller, then click on HTC Vive Tracker and make sure to hold the button down on the tracker until it flashes blue. Once that is done, you should receive a screen saying that it was paired!
Unfortunately due to chip and electrical shortages, Tundra labs has been trying to get out as many of the backer units as they possibly can however they did just release on their Kickstarter update page that they were able to pass Japanese certification for manufacturing. "For a number of months now, the team has been working on preparations for the public release. On April 14th of 2021, when this Kickstarter campaign was still running, we follow up placed orders with semiconductor suppliers for the parts needed to support a general release. This is now 42 weeks ago. Very sadly, we still have not taken delivery of these orders! Currently, there are 3 vendors who are each pushing complete deliveries out until May 2022. We are also seeing costs increase greater than 20% during this supply constrained time. This past month we have made it a very high priority to expedite the delivery of these orders. Everyday we are searching for stock, writing messages to suppliers, scheduling calls with suppliers, begging and pleading for partial deliveries of parts to run some production. These efforts have yielded some progress, of course not as much as we hoped for, but it is something. Overall, the vendors have been pretty empathetic towards the situation and are helping where they can. Soon™, but still later this month, we will announce specific communication about Tundra Tracker Public release." Quote from, Luke Beno
