Seeing professional Ivy gameplay (more so mainly AKa) is so fascinating cuz it show cases things I didn’t even know Ivy could do. As someone who recently started to play her, I’m excited to learn by watching hunters use her in IJL and potentially more upcoming tourneys.
opera matches are normally boring to me cuz they're just so predictable but i really like watching peter play something about it feels so smooth he's REALLY good at her, i guess it's more so in coa even if someone hasn't mastered opera they can normally at least tie bc she's just so broken but seeing someone who's genuinely mastered her is just so satisfying
Ivy nowadays, did fall off the meta, BUT when you know what you're doing, she can DOMINATE a match. And what i like about this, is that this is a learning opportunity for me because Ivy is the second hunter i main (after Mary) so im making sure to take as many notes about different strategies, builds, and things i can try out in my Ivy matches!
Ivy in tourney, HUZZAH! Hopefully as the matches go along we see more of the newer characters pop up! Even if they may not exactly be meta, they're really interesting to watch
i skimmed through the other matches for IJL day one and its so interesting to see puppeteer being played fairly consistently in round one and the shadow just absolutely flooding the matches actually crazy but super exciting to see them both cook
as an Ivy S badge, Ivy is actually really good, like I’d say around low-mid A tier. But she’s definitely not as busted as some people think or say. Keep banning Opera cause Ivy is nowhere near as good as good as her 😭
I wish my randoms understood this.. 😭!!! They insta ban ivy then complain when I struggle against an s badge opera on red church for example. They also can’t even kite opera themselves.. a Martha got terror shocked against an opera in my match (she banned ivy) 😭
I can kite opera singer for 60 second and gatekeeper but i can't kite ivy at all because i have habit of looking back and even if i look foward i randomly get jumpscare so i rather deal with S badge opera singer than ivy
I would agree for the most part. Though with solo rank, Ivy ban makes sense since she requires good communication, similar to Dream Witch. With a team, rank Ivy isn't that threatening unless you make too many mistakes. Tourney Ivy is a whole different beast.
Dare I say that ivy cooked. Aka's ivy will be amazing and strong if he ever plays it in coa or future tournaments. He's really good I'm really looking forward to seeing more of his ivy
That the thing i don't want her to be good at all she so annoying she has teleport, can't look, good chair camp, she can find you without you even knowing because of her invisible ghost
She counter seer, foward, and lot of pro Survivor that has habit of looking at hunter to kite and even if you look foward you can randomly get jumpscare and boon 40 fear
@@soupshouldgetgud8506 i can kite any hunter at least for 60 second but ivy is one hunter i can't because i hate dealing with hunter im not allowed to look
see, the aero nerf was undeserved, they only nerfed him cuz the pros were good at him, but it takes lots of effort to win with him since his ability is 15 seconds and is easy to mess up sometimes so u need to be able to raw kite well. what im more sad about is that they never brought the cooldown hover they promised, they said it was an adjustment not a nerf but they lied to us. Now it is harder to win with him, i spent hours practicing the rollercoaster 2nd floor trick and racecourse 2nd floor trick only for it to be useless now :( Aeroplanist is ok against ivy, ive won most matches when she chases me first, but when she was released, there used to be a bug where the jetpack would cause charles to go back into ivy and he couldnt move until she hit him.
Ivy being used in IVLs now hope she gets another nerf hammer ❤ I mean, batter was balanced and got nerfed for being in COA, so ivy also deserves another nerf, following thie stvpid devs' line of thought
