First time I played Rust, first time I logged in to a 2x modded server, I found a decayed base next to where I spawned and there was 1 chest. It had a full metal/ak set and meds. I lost it about 2 minutes later getting pumpied when I jumped out of the base.

I've done a base very similar to the one with the bunkers. That builder did a terrible job leaving all those gaps in walls and floors. There are many things you can do to cover those up.
