I was a consistent copper for like 3 seasons only getting carried by my duo queue friend gold into bronze but I never once thought of downloading cheats. It just hurts my brain for someone to be so salty that they aren't very good that they just straight up cheat
I've heard first hand accounts from people where they say "I don't even like the game, so I figured I might as well hack". I think this is the most common reason to cheat, next to sucking

Yeah that's why I don't cheat. Especially with siege, most of the time I get clapped but sometimes I pull off some crazy games. I just got my first ace a few days ago and it felt fucking great because I earned that ace all by myself without any cheats and it's a sign that I'm improving
@@VarsityGaming yes it mostly works when your team are shooting or breaching (e.g. border armory wall) or you are just betting on the other guy being clueless. Overall it’s still so dumb not many expect it

Zofia AK nerf went way too far, it's at the point where Ela's Scorpion feels more consistent than it. If anything they should have just removed the 2x sight or just gave her the Ash/Jager treatment.
The nerf was fine removing scopes doesn’t really do anything especially with a character that strong. Making the gun worse wasn’t a bad idea. Changing the gadget would have been too much
@@youngabooth6986 Making a gun borderline uncontrollable isn't a good change, and pickrates for other operators have shown significant changes when a stronger scope is either added or taken away (think Alibi, Mozzie, Frost)
@@youngabooth6986 some people have better things to do than play siege all day to learn each guns recoil patterns. Alot of people play this game casually and making guns really difficult to use hurts the casual community, not to mention on console recoil is way harder to control and makes some guns unusable.
I will tell you this as someone who still has a negative K/D, you do get those games where you pull absolute miracles. What kills the K/D is those games where you are either off your game for that night and you just wiff every single shot or you are going against a team that is just far superior or more coordinated.
Idk why people think Zofia's assault rifle was the fun gun. It's obviously her LMG. You can pretty much mow several enemies down with bullets to spare. I don't usually play entry frag, but when I do, I play Zof LMG.

I've played BF2042 with like 12 different people and none of us have experienced any glitches that actually ruin gameplay. The worst is performance issues which I think is a fair complaint. And sure missing stuff like a scoreboard sucks but it's not like the game is unplayable without it.
I really haven’t noticed to many glitches while playing the low amount of weapons and maps is kinda disappointing but overall ain’t a bad game it’s fun, always has action going on too
I prefer Bf1 or BF5 than 2042 to be honest. Bf1 and 5 has better and more unique features, Ex: Grand Ops, calling in artillery strikes/ smoke barrages, building fortifications, being reinforced with an airship or armored train (2042 could do this but instead with an AC130 or something).
To be honest, a lot of the gaming and online community can be toxic, no matter what you play. Every game has their trolls, which is why playing with friends makes games 100x better for the most part. On the other hand though, there are the very select few randoms that are really chill and actually helpful too.
I think that your take on “fun vs balanced” is true to this game because nobody has fun because of how competitive it is, but in 99% of games skill and fun aren’t correlated. Unbalanced things in games can be super fun…
I feel like the point of this game is to be extremely competitive, I find that I get most of my fun out of how competitive it is, if you don’t want a competitive game play a different game
I understand your “ubi making new ops that are only good when joined with other ops” argument, but I do see thorn being good on her own if used differently. I feel like most people are using her as a area denial type operator, which makes her kind of weak. Consider using her as plant denial instead. Rather than hoping the attackers stop on a doorway or corner, rely on them being still during the carrier plant. Ex: coastline hookah/billiards. Put one razerbloom under the couch on hookah to stop the default corner plant, put another under the pool table on the aqua side to deny that plant. She’ll be better on her own in that sense
I thought using her for plant denial was obvious, but I guess it wasn’t for everyone. I agree with your argument for Thorn, I feel like she has her uses and she is substantial enough to stand on her own as an operator.
I use Thorn for her gun mostly, but you there's quite a few places where you can get guaranteed kills with two+ thorns if you want to insure a kill. Shelves and other nooks are good places to place it too.
I had a match with 3 cheaters, a person on my side, and then two ppl left a ranked match, came back and started cheating their asses off. They were complaining about our team-mate who was cheating! xD I checked the replay and saw they were right! Submitted it to Varsity in case he wanted to show it lol.
ever since they nurfed all these main operators such as Ash, Zofie, Jager and all those i was mad at those changes but then i started to actually practice with those characters and i found that its rather fair and more balanced and skill worthy to be good with them now

I can't play siege for more than a couple games, but there are reasons for that. 1. I can't play with friends, because the ubisoft pop out is super slow on my computer (I have an intel hd 620) so that makes sense, but siege runs 30-40 fps and I can play and have fun. 2. it is siege i rest my case
The problem with seeing so many cheaters and closet cheaters is it starts to feel like everyone's cheating. Especially when people start getting kills that don't align with their stats. It's almost like having too much info creates more confusion than clarity
At 11:31 he mentions he doesn’t know if it’s lag. The sight on the gun is about 3 inches above the barrel. I don’t think you know how a real gun works or physics but if the gun is being Leaned to the right and the sight is just following him. You got to understand that the barrel is most likely lined up perfectly with their body. And just because one or two players in siege are very good at the game doesn’t mean they’re Instantly hacking. Because you get headshotted or Knifed. It’s a game and yes there is Hackers/Modders in the game. But people just want an excuse for why they die. Now I love this content and enjoy it ❤️ But you R6 Players in Gold one or Plat 2 or Bronze lobbies. They don’t understand Reality and most of the time just kids like myself.

The most fun I’ve had in this game is how I play currently being a glaz main in ranked and managing to top frag in high gold lobbies is so satisfying especially when the ash/jaeger mains get pissed off
with battlefield they complain about bugs as if its something specific to 2042, even though most battlefields are like that at launch. Some people just wanted to hate 2042 when they found out it wasn't going to be exactly the same as the others.
I think fifth guy shot BB's shield on purpose, it looked like he wanted to do it with second one as well. Because F BB that's too crunch operator even though person needs walls to play.
Toxicity is big now throughout the gaming community as a whole now because people are not patient anymore when playing. The biggest problem for toxicity in Siege is just the overall game just because it is meant to be a search and destroy type of game where you sit out for the entire round if you die and you have friendly fire. The biggest thing is that TTK in these games are quicker than games such as Call of Duty or Halo or any other FPS game for that matter.
I believe that the AR nerf was needed but they nerfed it really hard. You can't say someone isn't skilled about an insane nerf when it is so bad that even the top players stop using that gun.
honestly the thing that gets me with siege is how broken the game is, ranked doesnt take enough information into account to give you a proper rank. Then the toxic community is properly the abouste worst part.
Last night I was just told to quit playing cause I’m so bad and other stuff like that, I don’t let it get to me, it just gives me a reason to make whoever said it mad on purpose. My load times are bad as well cause someone(me) didn’t buy and ssd and is too lazy to go out and get one
I once headshot Glaz through the bed on the map with the plane. I shot one time with a pistol and domed him from 100ft away, with no line of sight. He was just about to break through a barricade. I just knew he was in the area and decided to fire. Dude watched the replay and then quit the match. This was on PS4. Lol I'm sure if I played on PC, someone would have accused me of using aimbot / wall hacks.
Pick & win doesn't equal broken though. If the community got together and got Warden to a 100% pick and win rate would that mean Warden is op and needs a nerf?
my only problem with the zofia rifle nerf is my favorite skin for her is on that gun and the LMG way outdoes the rifle now, so when I bring zofia I can't use one of my favorite gun specific skins, balance wise though I love where she is now, still super fun to play and very high utility without being overpowered

I have the perfect match to submit there were 3 spin botters on the opposing team in ranked. It is a sad thing to see in low diamond/ high plat lobbies. They even admitted to cheating in chat and posted a link on where they got it. Btw they are still not banned lol ubi.

the zofia "fun" argument is terrible because the LMG has just replaced the "fun" from Zofia's Beryl.If Zofia needed a nerf, she deserved a proper nerf where the LMG too would've been nerfed, if it was all about guns. Which its not.
honestly why does zofia even get soft breach charges? she has always basically been better ash. they could have just removed those and left her with concussion without nerfing the AR. or slightly nerfed the AR along with the removal of soft breach.

Bengals where a large breed in the 1990s considering it's a mix of 2 wild cats with generations starting with f per gen. They over the years have really changed and yes become smaller and honestly far more house cat looking. Also another tip about 1 in 3 Bengals become dirty aka they stop using the litter box, a tip someone found out was to have about a inch of water in a litter box. She might be in heat also getting her property will help like a cat tree.
I really do hate that as well where people are literally confusing balancing for removing fun from the game. Of course it will be fun for you if you use that character or gun every game and pound people into the ground because of how horribly balanced the character or gun is. This sort of "you are removing the fun" type of mentality amongst players ruins any further development for a game and sends the game down a spiral to kill the game. Game balancing is meant for players to be able to play any character and still have a chance to actually play the game. Call of Duty is a fine example of what happens when devs do not do proper weapon balancing, the M4 and MP5 dominated the game during MW2019 lifetime and still hold up pretty well against the new guns in the Warzone portion and let's not forget when 28 special a round that shot pellets as small as flakes of pepper broke the game for like six months and all people were using was the dual-wield revolvers with 28 special snakeshot. People nowadays do not know what real fun is.

Fun is when everything is Broken. I.e. nothing past year 2. Nothing should be balanced, I should be able to get sniped and sniped by a Mac 11 with a sniper scope.
I watched one of my own replays. And i know myself i don't cheat, but it was like a 5 round quickmatch and i just stared at people through walls. The enemies were not even close to me to and i wasnt even holding an angle. If someone else watched it, they would 100% think im cheating.
first was defo a bronze lobby, rank dropped on an alt for fun and kept getting accused of hacking because id swing a doorway and actually have a reaction time
Smurfing, I would still considered it as cheating in a way since they just want to battle against easier players since they just want to do that against weaker players instead of just getting better at the game and figure what they are doing wrong to win against the better players. You can always improve your gameplay if you watch and then try it out. Eventually you will get better and better and get there. Cheater are everywhere and the education system doesn't help since they don't care if you cheat.

Varsity says its a "skill" issue for those complaining but 99% of all pros use the LMG on her exclusively now and they are the most "skilled" among us. that shows Ubi just nerfed it way to harshly. dial the nerf back like 50% and we will probably see some pros use it again over the LMG perhaps. Ubi has a bad habit of "over-correcting" way too much and when they nerf they just do 2 steps beyond what is necessary for balance. Also Zofia was over picked due to her utility not her guns per say she was picked cause she "covered all the bases" as in she had the proper loadout and utility to never be a bad choice. now with attacker re-pick ops that cover all the bases like Zofia aren't always gonna be picked
So that second match was the one I had submitted. It's on Australian servers and it's really like every other person is a closet hacker here. But they're all so bad; that match we actually managed to clutch it up and will the game. He was so bad, prefiring things, but we just prefired better. These hackers really have no skill.
Last season i played 600 games in a season. i loved the game and was exited to improve but this season I have played like 200 and play way less. I just lost my motivation to improve after being hard struck gold for a season.
Fun isn’t having shit guns just because that’s the only nerf ubi can come up with for operators. Their only nerfs they come up with for operators is nerfing their weapons. Also so what if some operators are picked more and better then others.
I just want to point out when u said nerfing zofia was good i agree she is strong but ubisoft doesn't nerf operators the right way they make their guns unusable n call it a day thats why it isn't fun bc u can't use the op anymore
