Where are your sources bro? David Sinclair needs to be taken with a grain of salt considering he is actively earning so much $$ from selling NMN supplements...
Tbh, things like student loans, medical bills, etc, ant kind of debt wouldn't be as bad if we were able to live like 200-300 years instead of the current life expectancy. That's plenty of time to pay off debts and live a long debt free life, especially if we can repair ourselves and eliminate bills that would be reoccurring like medical bills
There's actually a video game like this. Its a sci-fi game where you're deeply in debt (partially due to the expenses you pay to actually work at this company) building space ships and every time you die (if I remember correctly) your consciousness is placed in a clone of yourself until you pay off your debt. Its deeply disturbing *edit* the game is shipbreaker
It's fake that doctor it's cancelled by many medical field, he did the same before with other "invention" but he was just trying to patent a supplement, and now he's doing it again, it's just to control supplements All his investigation are not realistic , there is many videos about him doing it for the second time
@James Phelps She will never get the treatment because it’s only going to be available for people that are ultra rich. The way I always think about it is when a new drug does come out, the average joe will have to wait at least 20 to 30 years before it becomes available. But then again, this is what people must want considering the poor themselves donate millions every year to rich republicans that are responsible for these advances being almost impossible for the average joe to get. It’s to the point that I no longer feel sorry for these people because they just let it happen. Ie. conspiracy theories, lack of common sense, and a refusal to move forward. I have actually just started laughing at these people because they have become mindless zombies.
All human inventions were at first for the rich but then extend to the global population thanks to scale and productivity… take the cell phone for example .. it was exclusively for the wealthy but decades later you can get one for 30 dollars
The pharma companies, owned by billionaires are not gonna stop this research. They're gonna keep it for themselves and their friends. If this actually works we can expect life expectancy for the average person to either stay the same or lower, and billionaires will live to 150-200 years and be able to rule over the poor for longer.
That last bit that you spoke about, cures for Alzheimer's and the like really caught my interest. I know some people are looking forward to potentially living longer (hahahaha, not me with how things are going currently, I'll take 90 and peace out.) But being able to cure neurodegenerative disorders and diseases would be absolutely mind blowing
Nah I think that when someone has reached their time they'll die anyway doesn't matter if they rejuvenated or not, when your time has come it's come. Whether you are old or young.
@@elpapuxDDReal - Thats not true. It’s not just going to be a superficial rejuvenation, your entire body will become young again. Unless the person gets killed by something (injury/disease) they’ll be able to live as long as they keep rejuvenating themselves every year/decade
right? literally no body benefits from killing this man. I’m sure CEO’s of Anti aging companies don’t want to wither away of old age either, them or their loved ones…
Bro said “we’re all gonna be immortal, and we’re gonna cure Alzheimer’s in just a few years” in the most comfortable voice I’ve ever heard like it wasn’t even a big deal.
Why? What really is the point of rejuvenation? For vanity? To “live longer” in a world thats destroying itself? Just be grateful for the time God has given you and be even more grateful when its your time to go.
@@jgprice9990 didn't you hear what he said? It will be possible to cure alzheimer and other diseases if this experiment succeeds. If you only focus on the "live longer" sure it looks bad, but look at the positive side please.
If people can live dignified lives, sound of mind and body, and not waste away from bed sores during old age I’d consider that a huge blessing. And please cover the treatment under major insurance ☀️❤️
this is why I believe prisoners should be able to commit suicide if they so choose. Being forced to live against your will should be considered cruel and unusual punishment. Plus it would be cheaper.
To think that within my lifetime I will be able to witness some of the most revolutionary discoveries such as this! Truly groundbreaking, I have much respect and hope for them and their research. This is what gives me hope, what keeps me motivated, the fact that every day we strive closer and closer to Utopia! I might sound crazy, but I always knew one day we would defeat death! Humanity will continue moving forward, as always...
Well first, the research industry must be honest. The whole basis of plaque build-up being the main cause of Alzheimers was proven to be fraudulent and falsified. And they knew this when it first came out, but that didn't stop them from wasting decades and billions of dollars on fake research.
look into cannabis and other mushrooms like amanita muscaria, psilocybin, lions mane, reishi, chaga, ect. they all have healing properties, some can cause neurogenesis, pr rebuilding the brain/nervous system. gut micro biome plays a huge part too.
I wonder if this might help with Multiple Sclerosis, which i have. That would be miraculous, but I am poor enough to know that big pharma will make it so expensive that many of us would never have access to it.
As someone with several neurological disorders the idea of neuroregeneration is the most amazing part. Sure de aging is cool but neurological repair? It could give so many of us a chance at actually living in the first place.
@@synoptic4753 population decline is the idea that not enough new people are born to support the old and the economy and is happening everywhere. Location is unimportant.
If he released the science he already has to the public, thousands of scientists could be funded to work on it, then all one thousand scientists have to “accidentally” die and that seems like it would take a looong time to do.
What's funny is when most people talk about reversing aging, they think about looking younger, but not the idea you could de-age any part of the body. Smooth skin vs no more organ failure. Edit: I'm noticing people seem to be missing the point entirely. Yes, skin is an organ. It's the biggest one, never did I say it wasn't. Wrinkly skin is not organ failure. Age typically does not cause "skin failure." It does famously cause heart failure, kidney failure, liver failure, macular degeneration, and dementia. I sincerely hope for your sakes I'm just missing the sarcasm because that shouldn't be so hard to figure out.
I hope this becomes more widespread rather than locked up for elites. There are good people who’ve worked hard all their lives for other people, just so those people didn’t have to. They deserve this kind of technology
A couple years ago he released a video with Veristatium. I recommend you watch it cause it talks about everyday things we can do that actually slow down or reverse age your cells. He said it worked for himself.
The anti-aging aspect will probably be mostly used by richer people because it's not a required treatment, but hopefully the treatment for neurodegenerative diseases will be accessible to everyone.
I mean we won’t be immortal like people in movies, we’d still be able to die from accidents and all, but reversing aging is definitely gonna make us live much longer
when i heard it can be used against Alzheimer's my heart and mind rested for a couple of second just hearing that there might be a possible cure is just heaven
I think we can all agree that before we reverse physical signs of aging in appearance, it’s monumentally more important to reverse aging of vital organs like the brain. I lost one Grandpa due to Alzheimer’s while the other suffered from Parkinson’s. The brain betraying you can be terrifying, and a chance to change that should be our number one priority
The video states that they haven’t found a cell type which this rejuvenation process doesn’t work with, furthermore adding how it could be theoretically used to treat neurological degeneration such as experienced with Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.
I agree. My great grandmother has Dementia, started short term memory loss and then she lost everything else slowly. She bacame a different person. However, it is the Kardashians of the world that would push for it to be for aesthetic purposes more than medicare. I mean, we see what is happening with Insulin.
When the cure arrives I reckon it will be a universal pill or injection that will target every type of cell in the body, all organs, skin, tissues and muscles will be reversed at the same time
Is a 90% chance of survival worse than a 100% chance of death? No. Obviously not. No matter how expensive something is it is still better for it to be an option.
@@resyntax no it's not, millions of children die each year just for having a birth defect or improper care, no one has the same lifespan as someone else, it'll never be that way
Best comment here, thank you! I met the sweetest little seven-year-old who looked 80. I was happy to make her smile and I hope she will be well one day.
All this does is reset the epigenetic data for the cell or cells so if your dna dictates that you age aggressively fast and die young your fated to that.
@@xmcerer well if cells are encouraged to keep replicating themselves without dying out, they will also just copy dangerous mistakes, this is one of the ways cancer develops, it’s kept in check by the fact your calls die and refresh
Definitely rich at first, but I think the more research goes into it the more and more it will become accessible. I'm sure insurance companies would be eager to cover patients who are aging slower or not at all too
If this actually helps with making a cure or treatment for dementia I'll be very happy. Just knowing what those people go through is heart breaking. Edit: I forgot yall americans have shit healthcare
I lost my grandfather to Alzheimer’s. It’s terrible, and so so sad towatch happen. My grandfather who served in Vietnam just slowly forgetting everything and everyone. I hope if anything they get something that can stop the disease from worsening. It would be great if they could reverse but just being able to do more than slow the rate.
Said only kidneys and as far as I know it's mostly heart or lung failure that takes us, so people will just look 40 something while still dying in their 80s.
I always thought that aging was the slow deformation of dna. Like when you copy a sound file and copy that copy and then repeat the process and after some time the sound is not the song but a broken mess of harsh sound spikes and random sound.
Yes but not only that... As far as i understood It's due the accumulation of tiny amounts of damage in a lot of things (including DNA) and the inability for you normal body mechanisms to keep up with all those tiny paper cuts which leads to degeneration over time (like having 2 people with a sledgehammer try to break a car while 1 mechanic tries to fix it) But DNA does have a lot of self repair mechanisms. All of these are subjected to proteins that control the quality of the copy to a very very high %. So i'm guessing that what they do is incentivize the fabrication of those encoded proteins and they "repair" the existing DNA (like adding more mechanics to help the existing one keep up with the damage being done). This could buy you a few decades and possibly a hundred years but you'll still be going through the natural DNA degeneration rate so you'll live on until you inevitably become a huge cancerous mass or die of an accident XD
Live forever for just $1,000,000.00 adjusted for inflation a year! Come on guys let’s celebrate our immortality! Yeah, this isn’t going to be a thing for normal people.
Lmao just become rich. Not that hard. In fact all you gotta do is say “make me rich” and there you go. Five million dollars and three bad bitches on your bed just for you. Ezz
Ya ok. When you realize that poverty has gone down dramatically over the years and continues too this is just so pessimistic. Take cellphones and smartphones for example. They were crazy expensive. Only the rich could afford them. But then guess what. The technology advanced and there are now 6 BILLION!!! Active phones in the world that’s insane. So try this one again.
Just like that episode from love sex and robots where the rich take rejuvenation therapy and they outlaw children and the poor live terrible miserable lives.
If they can cure neurodegeneration, it'll be one of the biggest discoveries in history. So many families have been ripped apart by dementia, Alzheimer's, and schizophrenia, and this might put an end to the misery expected at the end of life.
That would have happened already if that was the case. A lot of research is funded by government and military grants. Big reason why they keep this guy around, is it probably will be economically beneficial and reduce hospital resources if people could just not get sick to terminal illness given these treatments. Oh, and they'll create super soldiers that can be in service for a long time, which will eventually leak into the general public, so might as well be transparent about it.
@@GuiriTV yea the biggest problem has been lack of funding and that we still don't know how our body works 100%. reagan destroyed the budget for scientific research and it set us back a ton.
A lot of people probably expected this to happen in this century but I'm glad it's almost ready by just 2030~. Imagine the people we could save/rehabilitate
I know the possibilities are super exciting! Also a major incentive for people to look after the planet if they’re gonna be here an extra hundred years
