It's great that you have identified that voice in your head that is not serving your highest good. That's the first step of Awakening and ascending into your higher power. Practicing to keep your thoughts positive takes a lot of effort at first. Eckhart Tolle has two books that really helped me, the Power of Now and A New Earth. There is a practice where you listen to yourself breathe and while in that state of "listening to your breath" it's silences the negative chatter of the Mind. Try it and see how long you can go without letting any thought arise in your mind. You can notice when your mind starts processing a stream of thoughts again... smile and be amused as an observer of our minds relentless nature to always interrupt Silence with nonsense. You are not the one chatting up a mental storm, you are the Observer. And your job is to silence it, and replace your mental narrative with positive montras thar will enhance your life with positive, joyful, loving, peaceful thoughts. Practice withholding any negative thoughts, complaints or judgments and see if you can get through an entire day without letting the voice in your head complain. After while see if you could go a week or a month, and pretty soon you'll find it's impossible to even consider complaining ever again. Your nature will shift and all that you attract will shift as well. Eckhart Tolle explains this much better than I, but thoughts and words hold frequencies and will attract those similar frequencies right back into your reality. Positive words create positive frequencies which acts like a magnet to attract back the same. It's the law of physics, like frequencies attract like frequencies. Enjoy this empowerment!
