would it be a good idea to do press release distribution but WITHOUT links? - this way your brand is mentioned but not linked...

My feeling is that it is user engagement signals. So much more clickety action on a site like reddit than the purely info sites that got hit

google trained its ai with more people's views and new content by sending traffic there. People wrote there more, google got fresh news and insights more. pretty clever to get over knowledge cutoff i guess.
