I love all Indian food but Dosa especially is my most favourite Indian Food. Today my Indian aunty is helping me to cook dosa from scratch. Came learn with me how to make dosa at home.

As an South Indian I just saw this trick of adding rice to the urad dal. We mostly always grind urad and fenugreek by itself and then rice separately but this is new idea for me. New subscriber here !! 😀😀

You can do this with a simple Mixi. 3:1 mix of soaked rice and Urudu Dal. Add water to slightly flowing consistency. Then keep the mix to ferment 6-8 hours. Ready to cook on a a hot pan may be with a bit of salt and oil to grease the hot pan.

Nice to see your dosa maavu experiment. Although experienced people collect the batter with their hand directly while the grinder is working, it is really not a very good idea. Good; now you have mastered the art of dosa making !! 😊
