Impressive win this session! Keep in mind that sometimes when they go all in when it doesn’t feel right, they think you might be on a draw and want to make it mathematically unattractive for you to try to hit.

Used to live in Sacramento back mid 00's played there several times, had to quit poker when 2008 happened, and really haven't played much since like I did back early 00's I'm planning on playing again, until then I'm watching your videos and others as well.

14:58 with the nines, I think the jam is the more profitable route. Most of the time, you're scooping $100 uncontested. When he calls, you're betting $335 to win $850ish with about 44% to win, if his range is overcards and overpairs. Those are both profitable. If you call, there's a 75% chance that a Broadway card comes on the flop, and about 60% that two Broadway cards come. So, there's probably more money going in, but you are only confident you're ahead 25% of the time, and 60% of the time, you should definitely be folding, even if your hand is still good. Technically, your odds haven't changed, but the situation you put yourself in is drastically less favorable. So, cheer up! You did good. 😊

@@dougmccuskerpoker the reason I like your blog is I feel it’s 100% real. I think other people are more selective what they load. You’re my fav 100%. I also feel like you play like me, so watching yours helps me better than like rampage etc
A lot of people say it’s hard to play JJ. I, on the other hand, say it’s hard to play AK, especially when out of position. AK is good for tournament but often overplayed in cash game.
Absolutely mandatory river bet for value on the first hand there’s no way he’s checking a 9 or a boat and he will deff level himself into paying off with even 3rd pair as played as your hand looks a lot like AQ AK etc
I placed 5th in a $200 dollar bounty tourn td cashed for 1600 and knocked out 4 players and made my 200 i only played 7 tournaments and cashed in 3 of them i usually only play cash. I’m somewhat proud of myself lol
