The pride in that salesman's face was sooooo nice to see. He's obviously very proud of his small town and the quality product it produces. Also keeping families together and working. Great video.
Came for the LSXscalade, ended up watching all the motor coach videos! I love how he doesn't try to sell you on a new one, instead he informs you what you need to look for in an older one.
Been watching both your videos since pandemic locked me in, along with many others and I'm certain that's never been done before! Classic and epic! lolol..
Hi, I found you thru Andrew. I like your content a lot. Just follow Andrew with his camera skills and your channel will also be great. I did weddings in the VHS days and my mentor said "Don't pan too fast". That's a start. Keep on truckin. I have 2 CTS Sport Wagons. I like the brand. PS Newell has been on my bucket list for years.
Love the 'peasant tour' thx for sharin...Ur eye on mechanics & durability is spot on...I love to watch ..this ain't never broke to fix it & here's why..0-60 in 30s...& that turn...Ive been ridin w my hubby in his sleeper...I have seen my hubby make some pretty tight U turns..but my bottom jaw literally waterfalled to the ground when I saw Josh do that U turn on a 2 lane Hwy 😳 wow....Im thinkin I could even drive these bad boys....love the rear wheel turn thingy....& I have been on those left behind roads all over...still floors me how I see or hear no r vibrations...as Andrew would say...2nd to none
Btw I graduated HS in 93 then radiology school in 95 😳🤐🙃👽💀...ok I'm not THAT old! Anywho, thx for sharin ur experiences, love to see those smiles😊...I'd like to see 1 of U guys park 1 of those beastly beauties at a truck stop thats packed. 1 of the ol T&A's or even better an ancient pilot with some obstacle course like potholes! Can u view the rear camera at all times, even while drivin? Or dies it just stay on in reverse? 'More backer' is a challenge I have on my bucket list!? 🦋🐒💫🐘🙏🐢💃🍄🎶😁
Mitchell, I enjoyed every minute of that test drive! Thank you so much for sharing this experience, and like you were saying, maybe in 25 years you will be custom ordering a brand new Newell for yourself! In the meantime, please keep reviewing the used coaches that the more common person can afford to purchase.
Mitchell. I can never afford these but I’m intrigued by these videos keep this stuff up. Absolutely love it. I’ll keep buying shirts! You guys are awesome
earlier today i saw a video of that blue escalade.. now its the middle of the night and i've been here for hours looking at motorhome videos.. you never know where live takes you i guess
Love your videos! Found your channel from watching the Motion Race Works video you did. I have been enjoying catching up on your videos. Makes me wanna buy a coach! Keep up the great content! I’d love to come see you race if you ever come to Western Idaho!
Newell...Great bus...Outta my pay grade...But you can wish...IFS on these buses are amazing...Turning radius is less than the length of the coach...My bus does not have steer tag axle so I have to dump the air on it to turn that sharp...38 foot turning radius on a 44 foot bus...Thanks for the Newell video...Always liked the mid door entry of the Newells...
That’s a beautiful coach, and damn the turning radius is ridiculous with that thing I couldn’t believe how he made that u-turn seems like it rides better than any car on the road too!
I feel like for how much they're all on your Channel they should hook you up with a badass deal and help you upgrade I mean this video alone is got 62,000 views and that's not including every other video you have of their company and it's always been positive that's just how I feel
I’m curious. Your turning radius is determined by the cut of your front axle and your pivot point which is your drive axle. How will the steerable tag make any difference other than not scrubbing the tire. How would that be any different from a rig that lifts the tag or a 2 axle coach of the same length? Is my logic wrong?
If lifting the tag didn’t make a difference why would it lift? If the steering tag carries a larger load at a tight angle then the drive tires are the scrubbing ones not the pivot ones. It is hard to understand but I’ve seen it work 😂
The same way it makes a difference in a telehandler in 4wheel steering mode. With only the front wheels steering the pivot point is static and the turning radius is large. With the rear wheels also turning the pivot point is not static which reduces the turning radius. If you take a straight edge and pivot it from one end it's a large diameter. If you spin the same straight edge from the middle instead of the edge it reduces the diameter. That is basically what realwheel steering does. It makes the entire thing rotate off the middle instead of the rear wheels because the pivot point changes as the back wheels rotate. It might not be middle in the RV but in a telehandler you can drive in a very tight circle with 4 wheel steering enabled because the pivot point becomes the center instead of the rear wheels.
The tag axle on my Wanderlodge lifts. You can still scrub the tag a little in tight turns. I would expect the biggest advantage would be non scrubbing of the rears. In theory it should reduce the pivot point of the bus. My 44 foot bus with IFS will turn in a 38 foot turning radius. I would expect the IFS cut angle is the driving force of the turning radius. The video shown of the u-turn is exactly the same as the video of my 06 Wanderlodge taken in 2004 or 2005. The bus is designed to do a u-turn on a divided highway. Newell is a great bus.
What is the wide of Motor Coach : 96" or 102".. Thru the crouse of time,I've learn alot about Motor Home's and Yes I believe the NEWELL is built more Smarter than the other Motor Home's. Shell We say "TLC" on each step of building it.
Reality check. When you watch a video and think, older guy. Then they say they graduated HS in '96 and you think, "Wait! I graduated in '94. Shit, he's younger than me."
Well, I have a Foretravel and all I got to say is "What a Fucking great coach that is!" Excuse my french! I am assuming it has HWH active air system as well? Love the Newells and I have not seen one that I didn't like. Actually, on our trip to Alaska in '16 a guy pulled into the RV park we were staying overnight at and it was a '78 and he had just purchased it. We had a tour and some great talk afterwards on what he planned on doing to this coach. Interesting build, I might say! Thanks for sharing the Newell factory tour as well. Kind of reminds me of Foretravel out of TX and their set up! Love the IH45's, but would not hesitate on this Newell! Gotta hit the lottery now for sure! lol
Oh, man, now you've done it. I'll never again be satisfied with my 35' Forest River Georgetown. At the 13:52 mark you must have hit some major bump and in my FR, most of the roads feel like that but what was missing was the sound of like 100 pots jangling. Never thought I'd consider full timing but I could see that in this rig. Unfortunately my bank account cannot see this.
I bet the sales of lottery tickets are up per capita in Miami, ok I showed my wish on of the videos last night and told her if she wins the lottery but me one of these before you leave me lmbo
@@Stapleton42 looking forward to it, really curious to see the tech jump from 09. From your 96 to 2005 didn't notice much of a difference with technology, but you were right they were way ahead of there time. Going to be interesting to see from 09 to 2020. Thank for the uploads, love the content
It is now. Big ones have always had tags just for weight distribution and better ride but newell has integrated this new feature. Not a super common thing
I don’t know. Can’t imagine much more than normal. Maybe even less since they’re going straight when you’re driving and not dragging when you’re making tight turns like fixed tag tires normally do. That’s a good question
@@jerredwayne8401 Because first of all. It's my money and I don't want it destroyed. Second if I don't own it, I would not suggest it to be driven at that speed just to see if it can pick up speed fast.
605 hp and it takes that long to go 0-60? Someone needs to check that engine and make sure it’s rated. A 350 hp series 60 and 6 speed Allison with 4.36 weighing 36k does 0-60 on 28 seconds, and that’s only 1,300 pounds of torque. If you have to put that thing on a dyno, and it’s just big and heavy, I would do that, just to know for sure...
Stapleton42 it’s certainly time for a diet. 60k? I’d have guessed around 50k. I’ve never driven anything with that weight and power rating, the thought has crossed my mind that weight was playing a large roll.
So appreciated the audio experience of this video. It really underscores the quietness of this coach. But I've one question, dude, why are your armpits so freaking wet🤢🤢🤢😄😄😄😄
Get one of mine I want you to get one of mine yeah I told you to go get one of John Ledford verses that disagree 6 yeah whatever Motors in it yeah yeah I want to know I'm die-hard caterpillar I want to know
On one screen I'm watching you, while on the other I'm watching "1976 Daytona 500 - ABC Wide World of Sports coverage" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WUSECWVO2Js.html I remember watching it live when I was 12...
