someone would totally use it 👺for that dont throw away to cute and we have enough chipped stuff like that in landfills just because it was chipped........
Just redonate them for crafters etc... It's a good idea. The problem is, these thrift shops ( names unmentioned) put top $ on them. They should just have a bin for items like this, 25 cents at most. They get the items free, and still make $. This would clear up shelf space, and not waste the shoppers time who are looking for undamaged goods.
Cheryl Ross Lots of these big thrift shops knowingly sell broken items, and if you keep redonating, the system never stops. I’ve told employees that jewelry is broken or missing a piece and they put it right back into the case for the next person to buy. They said that is what they are told to do. And they are not allowed to show you any defects. And you can’t return. Anything to make a buck
I do too! I also like individual fun salt/pepper shakers for that purpose as well. So many cute ones! Here's a tip. Take a drinking straw and cut it in a 2" piece. You can stick one end inside the figurine (if it has a hole) or salt shaker and the other end down into the dirt. Keeps them stable.
The grab bags are adorable! Love the painted piece of wood & the pretty hanging egg . Not sure what it was meant for but that egg is sooo cute . You are so funny ,enjoy your humor always . Blessed Day Kathy n Tx 😉
What a fun little grab bag! Lots of interesting treasures. Those little wood blocks were sometimes placed on trim above doorways. I've seen little houses like that too.
What a lot of beautiful unique things! And can I say...you are looking very good. Your eyes have their sparkle back. :) Love your videos, you talk to yourself like I do lol
Don't just throw those chipped pieces away. Sell them as a lot - Crafters will buy them. Great to add to fairy gardens, terrariums, potted plants. Just because they are broke doesn't mean they don't still have life left in them.
Wow Jeffrey, I like a lot of the stuff you brought, but the little grab bags were lots of fun to watch, I hope we get to see you open the other grab bags too, it's like a nice surprise not knowing what's you gonna get!
Neat stuff in the $2 bags. I'd like to make a suggestion regarding items that have chips small cracks , but still have a cute or pretty main item. I'm a crafter that actually uses this type of item for several reasons i.e. couldn't afford perfect piece, wouldn't want to glue a significant piece to a hobby piece, and hate to see things in trash because a flower petal is missing a tip. What I'm getting at is you could save these items and bag them to sell to crafters as is. If you advertise them as such I believe they would sell. Another form of ephemera. Thanks for the videos, I am addicted!
I don't know if you've already found it but, the cute cherubs are made by Direct Connections. Don't throw anything away. Just donate the stuff you don't want. You could even have a "free, take one" basket in your booth. 👼
Jeffrey, I have a set of cherubs too and if I put them in a certain order they show each step of a somersault. I had to number them on the bottom so I would remember what order they are supposed to be in when I dusted!!! LOL
Oh, Jeffrey, I was absolutely dying seeing all the painted China from your first stop! I would love to see you get interested in things of that nature. I realize that it's more expensive as a reseller but there is a real good market for that. It's easy to learn the marks. Hint, hint...
The paintings on wood blocks were very popular. I put some on my fireplace mantel and some in my kitchen on little ledges. Cute in window sills etc. Amish is extra nice!!!
Instead of throwing away pieces, like the owl with broken flowers, sell them very very cheap. People that do crafts for bazaars know how to save the best parts and reuse them. Make up a basket that you keep these kinds of items in, in your booth. I would buy the owl. Yes you wouldn’t make any money on the item but I think people would be pleased with that idea. I know I would.
Jeffrey I think you missed your calling. You should be a comedian LOL. The mice were absolutely darling. Ok you don't have to throw away the broken owl. You can send it to me. I would give it a terrific home in my living room. "He is ready for the disco party" Gotta luv some Real Nifty Vintage. Thanks Jeffrey for being YOU!!!!!
You put the block of wood with red barn & owl over you door if have the door trim to decorate or collect each one to make a land scape for holidays use. May the🖖of 🦉s be with you . Hello Stella🐶🙍♀️🦉we ho theme owl here where l reside name flirt . Yes flirt turns his head & winks .
Donate the non-sellable items vs throwing them in the trash...someone may be looking for something just like it and not caring about it’s blemishes...plus you get a discount for donating...everybody wins...
Ann Eckhart Vlogs I know!! I get overly excited when I see one. I think it started when my mom would make grab bags for party favors at my birthday parties 🥰
