Šimon Horváth Sure, but why’s wrong with that? Most options in this are a trade-off, between money, survivability and utility. There was no problem with having a bomb that was ideal for a gold run. I mean, it still IS the only one to use for a gold run, but probably less exploitable, which is sad, because getting all the right stuff to smash the system on a run is what roguelikes are all about.

@@Nevir202 The golden bomb was the best bomb period while it just gave gold, no its a choice, some gold from rocks, or larger are, the electric and fire one still useless. Currently the two temp bomb in every room is the best item, and pretty much trumps any other option in the curse floor.

Fun was detected, and they decided to rip it out of the game. And I mean that quite literally. I like watching DF play games, even this one. But this game honestly looks so boring. Unlike other titles in the genre, you don't really have that "big payoff" ever. You're not going to just absolutely melt a boss in 10 seconds. And you're always going to be playing the same "throw axe and run" tactic, over, and over, and over again. It needs less passive enhancements, and far more active enhancements. Change melee with something, change the throwing axe with something. Make it a pro/con system. Especially melee. Melee right now is suicidal if you go for it, with no reward whatsoever. But a weapon that increases melee range & damage, at the sacrifice of no longer having a thrown weapon, could be a fun challenge to a player. And offer meaningful differences in game play.
