I bought a cheap Abu Garcia Blackmax 3 to learn how to take apart , service and tune up . Better messing that up instead of my expensive reels . I saw you have a steez video . I will definitely use that for when im brave enough to open my faulty one up . The handle turns the spool but any pressure on the spool and its like the gears are slipping and and the handles turning but the spool dont . I bought 3 of them New . 2 perfect but 1 not unfortunately . The seller i bought them off gave me half the money back for the faulty one . I was well happy with that . This might be interesting for you . Dont know if your Daiwa is the same but Daiwa UK wont service or repair any reels not sold in the UK . I bought the kit and had a problem the reel wobbles so I called Josh over at j&h and Josh said there's a recall then I emailed Craig and there's no recall on the bailless kit so please please show me and the tackle stores near me why the vr50 wobbles with a bailless kit
