Cool video, seems like they have a neat youtube idea for their channel! I tried to enter the giveaway using the form, but when i finished, it just went to a white screen. Is there any way to tell if my entry came through Jeremiah?
@@darthblade2016 thanks for the kind words, this build has been an adventure so it was fun having Jeremiah up after he was on our podcast. Let us know what you think of any videos you check out if you do 👍. We entered to try to win some boots too so we can finally get rid of our old Tim’s and make the switch 👢
I truly appreciate this company; they have listened to their customers and indeed you Jeremiah. Making the changes you described, shows they care and want to give you a better boot. In today's world this is a great relationship between company and customer. Another great video Jeremiah; enjoyed it, and it gives us welcome news.
Lots of good changes happening at JW Boots. Have to say I do love the way they are presented, as you say not for storing boots but for posting/ travel. Good luck everyone for the giveaway. Hopefully see lots of you on the live stream.
I have my 2nd pair of JWs on order. Love my Ostrich. Now I’m waiting on a pair of Trail Boss in Bull neck. Astoundingly good value, and now they come in this cool carrying case! That’s a bonus. My first pair just came in a cardboard box. Hopefully will be here in a couple of weeks.
Good looking boots! How do these differ from the Jhonn Whaynee JW Ranch boots? From what I understand they are made in the same factory in Leon and here in Texas those Jhonn Whaynee boots are sold by the truck load at flea markets
Looks like the same factory for sure. I would say the differences are the upgrades mentioned in the video from what Blake has told me. I haven't come across Jhonn Whaynee boots in my travels yet
glad you didn't get hurt from that live wire. House renovations can be fun. Nice lookin boots, glad to see they took your advice and improved upon their boots
Double white topstitch stands out like a sore thumb never like white stitching on the top of the hill and yeah get a magic marker out. Suede insole instep would be awesome
" Wow you's be cool with this cowboy boots ! Hello Jeremiah, this cowboy boots are great cool! True western boots, beautifuls colors,I like the style! This boots must to be comfortable ! Flexible and solid for the test according to your video , I find with your jeans pants that the genre is really modern cowboy style! Even dirty, these cowboy boots remain stylish! WOAW ! Very good boots ! Good video man,I love this boots !"
Jeremiah ... great review but you were struggling with these boots ... great channel ... I’m your biggest fan but I so love Hondo boots... they are the end of and be all ..
Your channel never disappoints , I know have over seven pairs of boots because your channel..lol I just picked up a pair of Fenoglio Boots from Picosa Creek Outfitters , I would a thorough review of these from you. Also I have a pair of black Lucchesse boots in great condition. size 9.5 D , I dont wear much , the shaft is little narrow for me now and I would like to have someone them and enjoy them , no cost. Original box and will provide photos..Thanks! No one in my area where's boots and neither do my friends..lol So they dont want them ..lol
Finally, a guy who has the same problem with widths... I also am a 12-B and I'll tell you, it's really tough getting a good boot where the width is just the right fit! Sometimes I still have to adjust with thicker socks or wearing double socks; I mean, it's okay, but then I end up with more laundry to do... and need to make sure I have enough socks in inventory!
I have a pair of the denim caiman Trail Boss which is the pointed toe in 12EE and they fit perfectly. I wasn’t thrilled with the flimsy plastic box it came in (there was no damage) and as you mentioned, the counter was too soft, but otherwise I really like the boots and recently ordered a pair of water green pythons in the Trail Boss toe and I’m quite looking forward to getting them, especially with the stronger counter and the new box.
Cool boots, and that’s pretty awesome he includes all those extras with them, also glad you didn’t get seriously injured with that wire mishap, another great bud man, keep up the good work!!
Jeremiah, I've enjoyed your boot videos, just curious if you have seen or planning to review the Capitan Boots? I'm thinking bout ordering some, wondering your thoughts?
i love the look of that boot i had a pair that looked like that when i was 16 my grandparents bought them for me its to bad that that was the year my feet started to grew. so i gave them to my cussin.
@@JeremiahCraig i know have been wearing cowboy boots since i was 9 years old and my gradpa is the one who turned my on to cowboy boots in the first place. and now its my turn with my brother we are 2 years apart and just stared to get in to them this year so iam teaching him over my 12years of expience.
Am I losing my mind, or do they seem like a much darker brown when you're working on the house? I ask because I'm going to buy some JW boots, but even on their website, the cork color looks different form here, and their honey color looks like what you have when you're doing the extended test
The lighting in the house wasn't great. I would pay more attention to the rundown shots and close ups in the final thoughts for color. Still there's always some difference between two different boots because leather can take dye differently with it being a natural product
@@JeremiahCraig Thanks Jeremiah! I'm a big fan of your channel. Keep the content coming! Due to a video you made, I just got a pair of Abilene's for a barn boot.
Most of the boots you find here in the united states are made in Leon Guanajuato Mexico, personally I buy from botas el malcreado, always hand made and great quality and since I go to mexico twice a year I buy a pair or two when I go and get them at mexican price haha I'll be picking up a pair of caiman belly boots next month for $200 american dollars, can't beat that price for exotic leather boots.
Just registered for the giveaway. Regardless of who wins, I’m glad that Blake listens to feedback and changes things that people wanted changed. I also think it’s awesome that he helps with these giveaways. Just another reason to support small businesses.
Cowboy boots should probably be stored upside down like a cowboy hat. If placed upside down gravity will not push down the leather as it would right side up.
For nubuck and distressed leathers like this and 3416 use a nubuck/distressed conditioner and then when it dries us a suede brush to bring those fibers back
@@JeremiahCraig thank you so much. I actually bought the hondo 3416 because of you haha. Absolutely loving them so far. At first i thought it was a bullhide print. Thank you again so much!
way to go !!!! I am a huge boot fan and own over 40 pairs, have gotten most of them on ebay.... check out ebay and you will for sure find great boots, especially if you like old styles !!!
@Craig Smith check out Tecovas, for people with flippers were feet should be they're not bad at all, I'd suggest the cartright as it breaks in beautifully.
@Craig Smith 15EE for my regulars as well, I will say though if you're in love with reptile skins like I am the Caimans will run a little tight and take a little extra breaking in. They have a beautiful sale on Buffalo and Goat right now too, and for a super fast comfy break in I would go with the goat cartright. But they should be true to size.
