Fooster really be playing the games I can’t handle… and somehow not fainting

I kind of wish the throat clearing would be replaced with a cough or something. Because throat clearing is something you can control, and there's no way you'd do that in a situation where your life depends on being quiet. If the main character had some kind of illness though it could explain noises like coughing/sneezing/wheezing at inopportune times

The reason the guy on the radio sounds so cool is because he is sitting in a warm hotel room, sipping a Rum and Coke while you roam around the woods with FrankenFisk and Count Tacoula on your tail. Great stuff Fooster, as always.

I like it, but throat thing is such an odd way to prevent stealth spamming. Like you literally see something that you know if it hears you you're dead, so you clear your throat loudly haha

This reminds me of that multiplayer game where 1 person is the monster that finds you off of sound and the other players are trying to find the parts to fix the car to get out.

I love how every other RU-vidr talks over the dialogue and you don’t know what there saying but you let the dialogue go in then talk so we can actually here the dialogue thank you

My only critique is that the guy on the other end of the radio voices the character with too little emotional weight behind his words. He's very flippant about the stuff he is telling you. This can work if it contrasts the fact that he's in a comfortable office somewhere talking to you while you are stuck in a monster-ridden hellscape, but in this case, it's very jarring when the radio crackles. It immediately takes you out of the experience because the voice over just isn't believable. He'd be excited, nervous, scared (despite being safe in an office somewhere), fascinated about the information he's found, worried about his friend and colleague who is in danger in the woods, and so on. He wouldn't be sounding like he's reading a wiki page he found mildly interesting out loud to his mother over the phone on his scheduled once a week call. I hope they can get the guy to redo the voice lines, because his voice isn't unpleasant in the slightest, but it does sound very much like it was a "first take" recording and a bit of a placeholder.

That's the one thing that always takes me out of horror survival games. You literally go into a situation that screams "Danger" and you don't even at the very least bring a knife to defend yourself. Won't catch me going to any kind of place that could even remotely host any kind of ghouls without a firearm. Just saying.

This game, the creatures, the jump scares...they satisfied my high for today...lol! There are certain things that I look for in a good horror game and this one gave me all of it! I am desperate to see more of what this game has to offer or the developers themselves. This so made my Saturday!🤩

I love how fooster is always so engrossed in the story as if he really is in that world

Paradolea is where we see faces where there are none. What you meant to discussed was fear psychosis, and its not just visual either, it can be auditory, tactile, or even just paranoia. Ive noticed this alot in your playthroughs and love it everytime. A mouse can fart and youd jump out your skin so hard your bones need a breather to catch up.

I discovered your channel a couple months ago, and you have some of the best content out there. Whether it’s multiplayer (which is absolutely a delight to watch you all play, so much so, I’ve purchased several games) or playing solo- I know I’m going to laugh and be entertained. Much love. ❤

This looked like a great game, only thing that bothered me is when sneaking you can see both his hands but he isn't holding a flashlight when its on

I just watched my boss and his boss play this and they made it totally hilarious. A bit glitchy, but overall it seemed pretty decent! A lot of good scares too. I'm looking forward to a mostly serious playthrough from The Foo!

Tbh this is exactly the sort of game i despise playing, random jumpscares, pitch black, aimlessly running around and just what seems to be nothing to do but its entertaining watching you panic 😅

I actually couldn't stop laughing (and stressing) when Fooster kept yelling "No!" towards the end while chased and he lowkey managed to duke the creature, that's skills I'd say XD And the game looks amazing, always a treat when Fooster plays Horror;D

As usual the main solution to horror situations is don’t go at night. But I would love to see more of this

Ooh, this game's got atmosphere, that's for sure. The creatures kind of remind me of some of those in The Evil Within series.

This has to be one of the best horror games I've watched you play. I don't usually jump often but I did a good 3-4 times

Now I have a visualization for the novel I'm reading. It has a similar plot in one of the horror instances where only a lantern dispells the darkness (lantern going out/darkness=instant death), there are also monsters' chase and it was already thrilling, but now that I saw something similar it'll be more thrilling to continue reading. That chase, that panting, that bg music. My heart is thumping.

'I'm a veteran monster hunter...(10 seconds later)...Nothing's happening. I'm freaking out.' Classic Fooster lol.

I am loving this play through so far! You are a new creature to their territory and they will come at you if they see you. True, they do hear you but you hear them too. The louder the sound, the closer they are. I would use Gate C as a base of operations. Hopefully, it will be a safe zone but I could be wrong.

A few minutes into the vod and a peeve of mine about these kinds of games and settings is that, for how abandoned and supposedly quarantined as well as the place having a dark history to it, odd how: 1.) People such as the main player character can easily get into said place, despite them not being not some gov agent or so of which is pretty much nowhere to be found once the game starts. Speaking of how easy it is to get in, convenient how the entrance such as the gate is just open without a sight of any of the supposed agents that are keeping it secured, by the time the player character is there anyways. 2.) There are conveniently still working and useful stuff like fuses and first aid kits (given the first aid was in a ambulance) and the likes just scattered about everywhere that still works, despite being exposed to the elements for who knows how long but highly doubt it was just recent. Speaking of convinience and miracle workers, same with stuff like cars still somewhat working and power lines and the likes being able to be fixed with just some fuses and levers or buttons if ever, even when then fuse box was also just open to the elements, among other things. 3.) There are no one else such as the people that are supposed to be keeping the place secure in sight but also at the same time have some remnants of people possibly being there recently such as some abandoned but still possibly working cars left about here and there, or yeah, stuff laying about here and there that may be here and there like lit lanterns or so. Stuff that are oddly pristine still really. All in all, yes, definitely odd, to say the least. Probably butchered that, as I said, a peeve of mine and have been somewhat ranting here about those. Still can be pretty cool and neat but yeah, at least make it more sensible and realistic if you're going to make the lore and stuff even remotely serious like actually make getting in such places actually harder and challenging then for crucial stuff such as fuses and the likes, keep them in a place that can actually keep them in prestine condition or so, of course, it being also easier said than done, gameplay wise and lorewise. This seems somewhat narrative and ambience heavy, on that note, really gotta try to make it seem more natural but still fun and challenging. Having stuff like fuses is a classic but it just lying everywhere, exposed, but still somewhat working? Breaks the immersion if you ask me. Well, not an expert here but yeah. Anyways, back to the vod. Just finished the vod, game is pretty rough as is, generally speaking, but that aside, I do like the feel and vibe of it. The creatures seems varried enough and are a curiosity, though the vod wasn't really able to show it that much nor well but yeah. Fooster, doesn't necessarily play the game the way it was supposed to, for better or worse, as far as I can tell i.e., carefully and stealthy. That said, props for playing the game. All in all, still quite nice with a lot to be uncovered and points to Improve upon still.

I don't usually flinch when watching gameplay, but even on re-watch this game has me flinching every time. The atmosphere is perfect, the music is intense, and the visuals are disturbing. The creatures make me think of The Mist by Stephen King. Great video Fooster and bravo to the game devs

it's not so scary. Just things chasing you. Gets boring if you have no way to defend yourself and constantly lose progress. Also too many empty buildings.

The only mistake is the fact that it has been 30 yrs and car lights are still working, which is funny, but it is a good game overall.

I watched it few times already, this game is fascinating! I hope there is some story to it and at leas few hours of gameplay, because the world and atmosphere feels so terrifying and exciting at the same time Please make it a series when its out 🙏

Is the premise of the game to find 8 fuses and try to kill “Mother?” I just don’t see how you can get anything done with how relentless the monsters are. Hardly anything to pick up. It looks like an empty world meant to get your adrenaline at a constant high all the time. I know this isn’t the full game, but it just looks empty.

These developers did great and another awesome playthrough Fooster! You mastered the "I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer...fear is the little death that brings total obliteration" mantra. What kind of protagonist enters a place like that with only a flashlight?! Like really?? He's that character at the beginning of every horror movie that you root to die for walking into death with such stupendous stupidity. Although, since he can't stay dead, and wakes up teleported somewhere else after being ripped to shreds, maybe the real monster lies within......

This is crazy. Who and why would go there bare-handed? Really hate it when they make player unarmed and totally defenceless just for the sake of it.
