When I only started playing back in late 2018 it was so weird for me why does tier 4 sub get to oneshot everything and elim was just basically useless.
@@TheHammerGuy94 4 040 subs will turn an undamaged BAD to ceramics. Using the same amount of money to buy those subs ($66,840), you can buy 5 Moab assassins and an elim. Which can't break the BAD bad layer with 1 use of their abilities. And with multiple uses you still can't beat the DDTs underneath.

Ive played over 4,000 hours of BTD6 and I honestly cant think of a single time I’ve ever seriously used Elim (aside from tossing it in there when I was making multi millions in freeplay anyway) theres just always been SO many better alternatives, but this change makes elim actually seem really damn fun and interesting now. Its called MOAB ELIMINATOR for a reason, it seems really silly it never eliminated moabs, just stripped a single layer off a single moab class every 6 seconds, which- when you have alternatives that can do SIGNIFICANTLY more damage and/or have so much more utility for the same cost, made it essentially just a challenge tower
@orangex_sap2278 my guy, ddts ARE black.. but elim CAN pop black bloons by default.. assassins cant tho. Unless you get mib, striker lv5 or bottom crosspath..
How about, if you get the tier 5 middle path mortar (sorry i forgot its name lmao) it gives all mortars on screen the ability to use this targetting, kinda similar to an elite sniper would. Not gonna lie that would be really cool. Also the tier 5 middle path may add a targetting option that lets all mortars shoot at the same spot
4:05 I feel like NK needs to re-examine all their crosspaths to fit a stronger balancing concepts, where depending on the tower, it should be things like: - One Crosspath has specific synergy (damage vs stunned, damage vs slowed, damage vs taking DoT) or offers some general support itself, the other path being better when alone - One Crosspath is much better at Single Target, the other path is much better at Grouped Damage - One Crosspath is much better at Super Cerams, the other path is much better at MOABs EDIT: some nuances should also be taken into consideration, - Maybe the crosspath which relies on or gives synergy should also have some niche by itself, like doing better when on multi lane maps than the other path, - Maybe the Single Target crosspath also has some sort of buff for other towers of the same type, - Maybe the Super Ceram crosspath can do theoretically more MOAB damage if it's within a perfect loop of track Right now, a lot of crosspaths are just "which one do you think looks cooler/which one benefits most from Overclock and Alch"
I used the elim against a round 100 bad on spice islands. It completly soloed it, even without camo detection as ddts automatically died. It then one shots zomg insides. I did not micro anything i just spammed ability. It is op.
Hey isab, this buff actually is kinda good for something like abr since moab assasin is cheaper than boat and also insta kills. While it doesnt insta kill bfb's, its still cheaper
I just did the math on elim vs first strike (abilities only), now that both pierce layers elim is kinda way better for everything except rounds like 98 and the bad, it's single target damage is multiple times better than first strike, and first strike needs to be in near optimal conditions to match or beat elim's dps with its AOE. Elim is not only more efficient in damage per second, it's also more efficient in terms of damage per second per $. The only upsides of first strike are being able to 1 shot the bad and the lesser save up you need to do
I feel like if they buff the price by a good bit I think it would make sense to give Moab elim’s ability aoe/fragment/piercing just to make it better as a pure moab damage tower
I remember back when Isab did the all tier 5 upgrades challenge and Elim was one of the most annoying ones to do because of how bad it was at clean up. I feel like it may not be an issue at all anymore.
@@kfchickeniscoolElim couldn't handle s.cerams, true, but there are plenty of towers that cover that weakness, like PoD or TBO as shown here. Elim was (and is) barely a support DPS in deep freeplay, but it was fine for a standard r100 game if you played expecting ceramic hordes.
Before the update moab elim it was very good with alc buff p training/PT p mentoring/PM but after this update to good is made everything up to freeplay eazy to beat because is one shot insides moab assasin and moab elim.
I know you have POD for decamoing, but if you're relying on the ability. It could be helpful for an Energizer Sub for an even faster cooldown on it's ability, as well as other's. More stuns, more double damage, etc.
it wouldn't be an isab video without isab completely forgetting a major feature of the game, and so at 5:25 isab forgot that you can change projectile size. great.
I really like the fact that a 0-4-0 bomb tower can one-hit kill the first MOAB at round 40. Makes the round a lot easier if you have other weaker towers.
Isab I have a challenge for you use upgrades that only has bloons in the art (like permafrost,downdraft, bloon trap) this is the 15th video I have suggested this
@ISAB I think it would be a fun series to do 1 monkey any teir of the monkey and see how far it can go for example (dart would be all three paths but only 3 dart monkeys in total no ultimate crosspathing) I hope I explained it well lol but I love your content and it's fun to see the buffs and stuff keep up the good work
Tbo 4-2-0 is a lot better for micro and very good mid game 4-0-2 if is alc buffed and with JD up to lategame and 5-2-0 is better for combination of stun and dmg and 5-0-2 if is with stronger stim and JD is better up to prb freeplay.
