Truth is the 2018 pair was awful. They missed on the shape….the print…the leather was unnaturally tumbled. We were so happy to see Nike air on the back that we overlooked the flaws

Anyone that was around in 1988 to own the black cement threes or even 94 would never even wear those 2018s. Norcf 2019 BC 4 Had the same factor as what you just described here they were both terrible. We finally got exactly what people have been asking for for 20 years and people complain still you gotta ignore these people let your own eyeballs be the judge go look at a pair of 88 and then look at the 2024 and look at the 2018 and keep in mind while looking at the 88s it wasn’t that tumbled it was smooth & softer out box pause but didn’t have that exaggerated wrinkling like 2018. You can do that to synthetic leather look like that.

I like the red showing on the tongue of the 2018,the 2024 pair leather and shape looks better than 2018 pair they should have just kept the same tongue as the 2018 pair with the red showing,the red showing just gives it a little more detail

I’m the only that kinda miss the bulky shape from the early 2010s the wc3 bc3 w c4 allat I came up on that era and I miss the black elephant print on the fire red 3s but the 2018 pair of the bc 3s I always thought were underwhelming materials weren’t that great and the insoles are orthalite I think the new ones are Polyurethane

Glad not as tumbled , it’s not supposed to be. They’re close to 88 as I’ve seen , the age chances color. & his PE was slightly darker. But shapes perfect. Height of elephant print needs to be a tad lower around toe box.

I had the OG’s people just be talking man. There has never been a uniform elephant print. Some will always be lighter or darker than others anybody telling you otherwise lying. It’s different sheets of print they will never be the same. My reimagined 3s have different shades of the print. 2 had slightly darker prints and 2 had the same shade as that new black cement. Back when I had the OG’s my print was darker than my brothers. The cut of the print was different sizes as well. Some thicker than others. People just make shit up lol. There was no uniform print look ever at all. There was no tumbled leather either only natural normal grain leather of the cow. Tumbled is embossed on the leather to make them look like that. The shape on the 2024 alone make them better the 2018 may as well be moon boots…

as an OG who was there....the 2024 is more closer to the 1988 espcially the cement print...as far as the tumbled leather, the 1988 did not have that tumbled leather it was a smooth softer leather. the cement print was not as thick or wide as the 2018....the 2024 is as good as it gets.

I'm good with my 2018 pair. I just need them to bring back the True Blue 3's with better leather next time. The last pair leather was cardboard
