They NEEDED my HELP BUT this yard TURNED into a DISASTER fast!!!

They called for my help BUT THIS CRAZY yard Broke my MOWER!!!
SO MANY CRAZY THINGS HAPPEN IN THIS VIDEO!! lets start from the beginning. I got a call from @LawnCareJuggernaut and @CabinontheHill asking if I could help them this this super crazy backyard!! they couldnt mow it with their mowers because it was super wet and thicc grass so we tried with the ventrac. Right when I got there one of the neighbors passed out and Kevin caught her from hitting the ground, after we made sure she was ok and had her call her son to come help her it started pouring rain so we had to call it a day. on day 2 I started knocking out this backyard with my ventrac. NOT EVEN 30 MINS into the job my belt on the ventrac started to smoke really bad so I pushed it to the limit and it busted. actually blew 2 belts on that yard. it didn't help that It was pouring rain the whole second day!! I got a call from Joel with Ventrac and he told me come pick up his attachment for the Ventrac so we could finish the job. So thats what we did. this job was not easy and by the time we had a clear day to mow the yard was flooded with Nasty septic water.. yuck... Throughout all the nightmares that happen in this yard I had a great time mowing with Kevin and Robert. It was a blast!!!

Jings it was raining like that here In Scotland today! We’d two days without rain then bam. It’s back. Can’t get my grass cut! Oooft. Should’ve tried yesterday but I’d a sore neck! Should’ve pushed through it even at 73! Keep on doing what you do. You’re all inspirational.

I thought the house was backed up to a forest preserve 😅 Man what a fantastic difference!!! I don't even remember why I started watching Al Bladez, but ALL you guys got me hooked like I was watching soap operas when I was a kid... LOL BTW, I myself belong to a crochet charity group who make a VARIETY of things for multiple organizations: dishcloths, soapsaks, washcloths for our local food pantries; hats & afghans for infants to adults, and for cancer/chemo patients. We stay mighty busy and love every bit of it. Because as y'all have seen, it's the smiles that keep us going ❤

Those Ventrac belts are special for that unit, can't just use a regular type automotive belt. They will smoke really quick if you try to run them. I believe the belts Ventrac sell are made of kevlar.

Al, thank you for your videos. What brought me to watch? As a kid, to get me to sleep my dad would be like, "you don't have to nap, but you do have to lay here in your bed while i cut the grass", the sound of the lawn mower helps me to nod off (I have cancer sleeping is a problem), but your videos are so intriguing, now, I watch first, then rewind to relax to the sound of the lawnmower! 🤣 you're the best, loved how you hid the $$ in the grocery store, I was so moved the next time.i went to the store, I gave the cashier some $$ and said I'm paying it forward. Thank you again.

A belt can get wet, but it can't stay wet. The heat belts generate will dry the belt but water is a lubricant and the belt will just keep slipping. If it keeps getting wet or stays wet, it will burn up.

At least you were able to borrow Joel’s VenTrac from him and finish the job with help from The Boring Channel and Cabin On The Hill. Al, do yourself a favor and get rid of the VenTrac. It’s crapping out all over the place. Throw flowers on it. It’s dead. Seriously, this was an epic transformation.

How crazy is it, that I've watched a few of your videos and knew it was Florida. I moved to Virginia in 2020, and if you guys need a yard in Volusia County, let me know! My dad had a green thumb when I was a kid, but with age and other issues, it's become very overgrown. While they enjoy having orange trees, pineapple, and tons of other fruits, it's difficult to get to them. If you ever have a chance to swing by and get to his yard, just know he's got certain plants he values a lot. Old family and friends giving them to him and all.. I was there in 2021, and while it looks like a rainforest, it's not maintained. 😅 Love everything you guys do!!

FINALLY, I’ve been waiting forever for you to break out the Ventrac with Kevin! Made my day!!! ❤️✌️😎 Having watched this video I have some improvements for Ventrac, a redesign may be in order, switch from a belt drive system to a PTO (power take off) shaft, thus removing any potential slippage or fire from the belt design. 🤷‍♂️

I'd be taking the ventrac back you either have a alignment problem or bearing seezin up on you not uncommon I used to sell and service the Steiner which was replaced by ventrac company will stand good with you there great to work with might ask them if you can demo the flale brush cutter for the big thick stuff probably get along a lot better

Great job guys! Nothing better than the Ventrac 72” wide to shred the grass and brush. Unlike the riding mowers it shreds the grass so yo don’t have the piles left behind.
