CHANCE TIME....? Fill in the code and you can claim my pre-order Pocket Aces Destiny In-Game Charm thing! I removed two characters from the code below and replaced them with question marks (?), but they're both either a number or a letter... have fun and let me know if you get it! A?D - V37 - F?4
Man, that Valkyria Chronicles music is just SO GOOD!!! You always choose great tunes. I've gotten both of my kids into the Vallyria games. I just wish I still had VC2 on my PSP.
You can indeed cowboy it. You just gotta whip it in a very particular way that's pretty hard to explain. Also this is the second time I get a Destiny gun before you do lul.
Yeah.... The guns in Destiny are indeed massive. I am sad that unlike the NERF GHorn skin where it loaded a Demolisher Rocket, the Ace doesn't reload with the NERF cylinder that the LMTD version uses.
I noticed the sights issue too… I then looked at it in game, and it’s that situation where is has holographic projected sights above the gun which are impossible to make in real life 🤷♂️
I mean, it's not impossible. Just would make the cost of the toy way too expensive. Nerf is afraid to make expensive blasters cause they probably won't sell as much units vs the same blaster with less bells and whistles that is more affordable for its target audience.
As destiny player, size is about right. You can look up online community tring to find out how big would be Destiny hand canon if it was made irl and it was agreed that Destiny hand canons are big as adult forearm with firepower of high anti material rifle up to smaller tank round. I still remember shoting hand canon for first time in game and noticed it has fire power enough to remove whole head and neck off the shoulder. So for none destiny player gun is big but for destiny player it isn't comparing fact there are even bigger and more powerful guns than hand canons
I have one of these on order. I think it's going to be a birthday present for my son at this point. I have a bunch of pistols I wear to battles, but between the size and the fact that I'm not a Destiny fan, this just isn't for me. I'll stick with my dual Outlaws, Venom Pro, and Trailblazer.
This is the first Nerf blaster that looks appealing to me that I won't be getting. Still, I love how they stayed faithful to one of my favorite weapons in Destiny 2. I can't wait to see how people fit LEDs in there to mimic the "Memento Mori" trait (essentially the cylinder glowing when one reloads after a kill, giving higher dmg bullets).
Here's the thing, Walcom, I have access to the models of everything in the game and . . . Holy SHIT is A) The Player Character fucking huge, but B) *Every single weapon is huge too.*
The best thing they could have done was make it so that they had a trigger/switch on the side (that you could reach with your firing hand) to open up the cylinder. Then they could make it so that when you pull the trigger, it pulls back the hammer to make the blaster feel like it has more kick to it
I cant wait for mine to show up. Im going to mod it right out the box. I will upgrade it to an 1800mph lipo battery, upgrade the wires, leave the stock motors in, and put in a new rev switch. Hopefully this doesnt burn out the motors. But if that happens then ill just upgrade the flywheels
Ok the gun is so lore accurate I love it, and everything is lore accurate. Even the shit irons are because basically no gun that shows only irons in D2 actually uses irons, they typically have a floating holographic sight. The ace is no exception. My favorite part is the kinda ridiculous size of hand cannons because that's actually lore accurate too. The hand cannons are called that for a reason. Let's just say there's a reason why they can kill a god with them. Hell even the reloading is lore accurate. The kinda need of a slap is actually how hand cannons works (some slap some don't), even the gorgeous cylinder in cylinder reload. Have a good rest of your day.
Ion play or like Destiny or Destiny 2 and Ion encourage or market anyone too but I'm happy the transparency of Cosplay was demonstrated throughout this upload.
I can actually see Nerf releasing other non-IP versions of this pistol. Correct me if i'm wrong but i don't think there is another "six shooter" pistol with semi-auto or auto shooting. All other cowboy-style six shooters from nerf are "manual" single shot. Edit: have to agree with others that a spring loaded slam fire would have been nice too.
I am so disapointed at this blaster. I was planning on bite the bullet, pun intended, and pull the trigger despite the price point but with Stockade pancakes, my interest in this blaster shriveled up.
Why do I buy stuff then cool stuff comes out immediately after, not even a massive destiny fan but I really want this. Least the cool thing I bought was a 3d printer so push comes to shove I could just print one
I 3D printed the Last Word, and the rounds for it are .50cal which is what I understand half lengths are in diameter. So....Hasbro hates us.... and don't buy this, even though it's so cool.
