What I find funny is that the riot shield nerf won’t even really affect the turtles that much, it just screws over anyone using it with a melee weapon

No it impacts turtles specifically and is buffed for anyone using it as a melee weapon. Edit:Misread the last part, Ya it impacts melee knifers a bit, but it is still usable.

It's pretty sad that the melee weapons got nerf to heck and got no love personally unlike every other weapon. It would help if they added personal weapon perks for weapons like faster, lightweight or commando even.

The saddest part about this nerf is that it just encourages the shotgun/riot shield campers to camp even harder since they won't want to get caught moving around.

Camo grinding for the knives is great on domination and hard point I feel. There’s more of a general sense of where the other team will go or be so you can sneak up on them easily. TDM gets pretty random with players running anywhere on the map.

Yea man, Greece in the 6v6 playlists is a nightmare and a half to play because the map is so big. I played TDM and neither team even reached the limit because we were running around trying to find each other the whole game.

It’s just not the same… The throwing stars brought back alot of enjoyment I had doing knives only back in the day. God forbid the knifing community have something nice for us to use, they nerfed everything we had over guns and now it’s ruined.

What I recommend for the flame thrower is to put it on the lightest riviter you could build, fast mobility and doesn't effect the the flame thrower.

This is how the throwing stars could be useful again. - Special wounding system • No sprinting (8 sec) • Longer regen cancle (×2) • Light camera shake (6 sec) • Lower sensitivity (65% normal 8 sec) - Additonal limb effects • Legs • 15% less damage • 50% walking speed (8 sec) • Arms • 15% less damage • Slower reload/gun switch (25% slower 8 sec) • Lower sensitivity (50% normal 8 sec)

The shield was never good to begin with, it's way too easy to be knifed, takes 3 bashes to kill, and unless you're staring directly at your opponent you're taking bullet damage. Even with this 2 bash buff they're implementing, it's still not a viable option compared to literally any other weapon in the game

Ya I'm fine with the 2 hits once your in range it's already ggs for the enemy, worst they can do is trade with you by sticking a sentex or thermite. Still get 20-30 kills a game with only riot melee.

Funny, mine never reset. I heard about it but never happened to me. Also, if you put on the ordnance gloves, you'll get strong arm. You already have on the perk to resupply your throwing knives.

the throwing star should had a crippling effect of sort instead of being one shot kill it was. Real life shurikens were simply a way to distract and 'trip up' would-be pursuers so the ninja could get away easily.

Honestly ill still use the shield, itll be a challenge i like that. I like using the shield to kill. I just like making sweats angry. I know i sound like an evil rat. But hey i just want to have casual fun. Not sweat. Also….idk if its me…but smgs and other guns dont have that penalty feel. Maybe lmgs but not ars and smgs….idk

Hey tko, I’ve been knifing since bo2 and more realistically going hard with it since cod ghost. I’m no where near as good as you, but don’t give up on the riot shield! It slows you down, but it actually protects you now! Run the riot shield with the karambit, scav gloves, covert sneakers, and ghost with stun Grenades! Bouncing stuns has never been better, give it a shot!
