I love how calm and well mannered you are, No matter how large or how many little scrap pieces in one or dozens of stops you make in 1 video. You always end on a positive note. Your a nice looking young man even with life's troubled tolls of you. You live a blessed life and I hope you continue.
Paul love you scrap and pallet site I'm 71 and ADHD too love watching you save our planet God bless you and keep you strong I see you next time love Donna
Thank you for showing me that it pays to keep landfills a little cleaner and brings the community together at the same time. God bless you and your loved ones.
When I was a schoolgirl long ago they did not have the label ADD or ADHD. Year after year my teachers just said "easily distracted", "does not concentrate", or "daydreams often". This difficulty never went away but at last I could call it ADD and better understand my life. My best wishes to you Paul, you're doing great!
I do pray that you, Mr Scrappity and Florida Scrapper and Mike The Scavenger gets a truck full of scrap every day. God bless you Paul! Thank you for letting us all hang out with you, you're Awesome!
@@ScrapPalletMan hey Paul, I'm sure you don't remember when I said I would have some good news soon but didn't know when it would happen or if I would but it's happened. My boss promoted me today. I'm now a manager. I'll still be running routes thankfully cause I do love it. Just wanted to share my good news with you and God bless you brother!
Maybe an increase in day time competition? Some of the best curbside treasures in my neighbourhoods have usually been found the night before garbage pickup. Even so, there's competition at night too, just not as much as during the day. It's also harder to see stuff at night too, and you can miss things.
I have to admit I`m shocked with perfectly good/serviceable items being thrown away instead of being sold or given away to anyone needing them . But your doing a valuable service stopping stuff going into landfill.
Those bed frames are awesome they are hardened to handle over a thousand pounds over the whole length of rail great for building structured items with it
Hello paul🤗 first I want to say it's a pleasure knowing your keeping all this stuff from going to the landfill, second I'm happy to say I'm a new subscriber🙂 Stay blessed always.
You always provide entertainment for me, so the least I can do is always say a little prayer for you, Paul. Good finds! Thanks for the ride & always showing the gorgeous skies. Stay safe out there. 🙂
When I was a teenager going on long trips of 2-3 hrs to stay awake, cause I fall asleep easily in a car ride, I'd count birds I saw and recognized. Really helped time fly, and I didn't fall asleep. Sure do miss the sounds of the variety of birds in America. I'm formerly from Ohio, mom and late step-dad lives in Southern Illinois, and my my late dad and step-mom live in most Northern Panhandle of WV. Now I live on Pacific Coast of middle Japan in Ibaraki Prefecture. Love the birds here too, crows, ducks🦆, cranes/swans🦢, owls🦉, sparrows🐦, swallows🐦, finches🐦, hawks🦅even the chickens, and roosters🐓🐔🐣💖💯‼️💪💪💪💪👨👩👧👧👫🤰👶🇺🇸🇯🇵🌏🗻🗾
@@ScrapPalletMan Yeah, the crows can be very mischief-makers. Like the crows remember if your kind or mean person, and so they'll crap on you, or drop stuff on you if you are mean, so they'll remember your home. If you're kind to them, they might bring you a gift, like a hanger randomly laying in your yard, or glove, a shoe. or even a work tool. Then the crows remember your a mean person they'll steal your hangers, jewelry, keys to make their nest all prettified💖🤪😂if they find them laying about outside. Then there is really smart crows that go as far as learning to talk and mimic other people's voices. Did you know Paul, that crows are part of the parrot breeds🐦🦜?? I love studying animals, and could have been a veterinarian, but choose to be a mommy early instead. Do your best Paul🙏🙏🙏💪💪💪Sincerely Amy and family in Japan👨👩👧👧👫🤰👶🇺🇸🇯🇵🌏🗻🗾P.S. just subscribed to your channel💖
Great haul. Paul a lot of us have been through some of the same problems and God has been our savior. We all need to give thanks for our salvation and honor him. That’s what counts. Thanks for sharing and God Bless. 🥰
Hi Paul, Thanks for a fun run today . Just like the rest of your runs. Good finds 👏 when you say that it's the forgiveness of the Father that has brought you to this point. You are right. I believe why so many people love your channel, is because they love your spirit. The Holy Spirit that lives in you! He shows us how you act with everyone and how you treat them. which is calm , kind, and with love. Praise God. I hope your puppy dog is doing better. I can't wait till you take her on a scrap run with you. She is going to love it , and so are we!
Paul, you are correct. Evening scrapping is totally different than morning scrapping. But, you seem more comfy with home owners. Baby hammer is a keeper!!
I'll bet you'll be one happy camper when the lift gates finally installed huh? I know it'll save you a lot of back pain! God Bless You and Your Family Paul!!👍👍
Paul u r a blessing to me i just want 2 tell u that i enjoy ur each of prayers and watching how much God blesses u really blesses me and may God keep his helpful hand on u and keep on blessing u Amen
I wish I lived near you. I need 2 sets of twin bed frames on rollers for my antique iron head boards. When I moved last time the movers broke the wheels that were molded plastic to the frames of mine...so they are useless to me. I no longer drive so I can't get out to look for any. Great video...so much waste around us. Stay healthy and happy my friend!
You need to get a pipe sending tool to keep in your truck. That way when you come across more metal tubing you can be ND it all so it will fit in your truck all nice and neat. It will be good to bend all of the extra long pieces. Also a Sawzall.
I love this channel. You inspired me a lot to scrap Mr. Paul. I got $10 today at the local scrap yard. So far $24 all together. Lassiez les bon temps rouler. (Let the good times roll)
It's cool to see a snowblower out at the curb. I guess because a lot of people have them there. I went to Alaska 2 years ago to see one of my friends that I have been friends with for 54 years. The day after I got there we were going hiking. As we were leaving his house and turning the corner somebody was having a garage sale. I freaked out. I told my friend, LOOK THEY ARE SELLING SNOW SHOES , SNOW BOARDS , FISHING EQUIPMENT and a lot more co stuff. He told me to calm down, YOU are in Alaska and that I'd what people sell at their garage sales.
Hey Paul, Another great run and video. Thanks for taking us along for the ride and yes it is amazing How the Forgiveness that is offered to us All by God, can change you from the inside out. And it can take time, and sometimes I believe the Lord allows it to take longer within our lives, for several reasons. Such as to allow us the time for adjustment and to realise more and more just how good God is. And Patience, as it’s a virtue and something a lot of us have problems with. I know within my life, I was so busy running around, Working, and then I would come home to go out again, to work within the Church / School. I believed I could do it all, as I was doing it for God. Then I had my Accident. That slowed me down a lot. And it's been 24 yrs since that time, and yes I am in pain, yes I can no longer do a lot of things I could before, but I have time to do so much more. And time is an important thing in ALL of our lives. I used to teach Apprentices at work and I would tell them, that there are 24hrs in a day, you have 2 legs, 2 arms, a brain, and a Heart and there is only so much you can do in that time. Regardless what others want you to do. So I prioritise and then form a plan and list my tasks for the day, and I stick to it, unless my boss would come and pull me off of the job to do a higher priority job. And I learnt a lot from that, and I have used it in my work and try to teach others the same. But most importantly Give the Praise and Honour to God as He is the one that deserves it. Then listening to your definition of ADHD etc… I have come to realise that I too have a lot of the same issues. I have always been a 'slower' reader than what I should be, but that's just as you say, I start to read and my mind wonders and continually thinks of different things. And unfortunately, unlike when I was younger, it didn't matter as I had an almost photographic memory, so the issue wasn't really a problem. But after my accident, I was on a lot of different Medication and still am, but I was on a High Dosage of Opiates for the pain (I have now been off of them for 10 months 2 weeks, 2 days). And I still deal with the consequences of the effects on my body. Anything before my accident not an issue, but after it, I have to write it down and re-read the information over and over as now my Memory is not so good. So reading takes a lot longer, and I have to keep reading it. I do not say these things for sympathy or any other reason, other than to say Hey this is life, and We ALL have Decisions to make. So I try, and some days, go well and some not so good. But I try to give God the Glory for anything I can do, as He made me, and He doesn't make mistakes. He gave us Free Will, and it is up to us to use it wisely, and Ask for that Wisdom. Make those Decisions, and make them with God's Help, as if you want to be cranky, that too is a decision that I am all too well known for, so it is oh so True. So as for Me and My Household, We will serve the Lord. God Bless and Stay Safe, Gordon - Australia.
Been enjoying your video’s. I first started watching Mike the Scavenger and one of your videos popped up nice haul. I also do dumpster diving love it been doing it for years finding all kind of useful stuff and tons of scrap.
Paul it’s me again when you talk about your addictions it sounds like your talking about someone else your living proof that if things are bad in your life you can turn it around god bless you love from Caroline from the uk x
Good to see a new video Paul. Can't wait to see more videos soon my friend. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Keep recycling. Keep picking. Keep scraping. Keep making. God bless.
I've been doing that for now 30 years. Picked up 20 accounts along the way, there's decent money in it, if you tear it all apart and separate the different metals. Platinum, gold, silver, brass, and copper are at best prices in over 20 years. Awesome computer boards and TV boards from the newer TVs that are green are paying a lot because they have gold in them
Hi , Paul. I must have missed something on your channel,as I haven’t seen you in your workshop for a while. Have you given up using it ?. I have watched you as your channel has grown. What a success you’ve made it.I love it. Greetings, from Wolverhampton,in The West Midlands, England. xxxxxxx
Hello Paul... Your one of my favorite u tube channel I watch you all the time.. First time I have written to you.. Im glad that you have your new lift.. I pray the gas prices go down and scrap pay out increases🙏🙏 Im your state neighbor from Wisconsin.. Keep up the good work you do.. Always stay healthy and God bless you always.🙏🌞
About the 16 minute mark you had a short file cabinet to lift. Next time, face the drawers towards the tailgate, lean back and open top drawer to hook on tailgate the left the other side like you would do a grill. The drawer should bind up just enough to let you lift up there!
@@ScrapPalletMan Yes, it's in the 80s already. We really didn't have much of a cool winter. We live for the cooler months. Take care of yourself Paul and God bless you. Elaine
Hi, Paul, it's been a while since I have commented or seen your videos. I can see you are doing well, and some good hauls. How is your mom doing? Enjoy your thanks to God and I pray with you.
@@ScrapPalletMan I need to share a story with you now. I've held back on it 4 a long while. Since you've been into the lift gate situation it has made me think I don't need a w2 job. I want independence. I want 2 make up cards with my name phone number ect a truck or a vehicle I can get scrap in with ease do to bad back/hernias. I have a vehicle in mind it's going to take money 2 reach my goal. I tell that to tell I live in an area with 230,000 people and scrap is in abundance. If you wouldn't have done the lift gate issue on your channel I wouldn't have a care in the world to improve my life. I want you to know you personally invest in me by putting quality content on your channel. You planted a seed and watered it. That seed is inspiration. That inspiration leads to a better attitude. A self employment that otherwise wouldn't be there. I mean every word I say. I mean this that you through your channel is helping me as an individual. I won't lie to you brother
You can disconnect your tail gate at the wires on the side of your tail gate which lowers it to about a 45degree and you can slide heavy stuff in to bed!
Hey Paul that's what you call scrapping you're really going to have some big bucks there man and the prices going up God is blessing because you bless others good video Paul🇵🇷🙏
Those pipes you picked up especially with the one with the double pipe coming off gather it looks like it could be a frame for some type of building a shed but I'm just guessing and again I'm just guessing haven't finished watching all of your show to you my computer died so I'm on my phone I may be awhile before I finish your show Good Luck Paul
Maybe keep a small hammer and a cheap battery powered saws all or cutting grinder on hand to make the quick metal cuts...harbor freight should have something for that
Brother Paul , if you get time , watch Mike the Scavenger. He had a nifty magnet. You don't have to bend over ,if you drop nails or screws. He pushes a lever and all the nails and such , drops off where you wand them to fall. Saves alot a Of wear and straigns, if you know what I mean.
That shelf unit you got to putting it in your truck in the morning nice stainless steel. You might wanna keep that in your kitchen that’s a lovely sets of shelving and is originally very expensive. It kept indoors and in a dry place it’ll last for years and not get rusty. I wish I had one!
Wow Paul, I could really clean up with the stuff you find. It's absolutely amazing the great stuff people toss in the trash. When I lived in N.J. we would say some people have more money than brains when we see perfectly good stuff in the trash. I could almost make a living off it.
Hey Paul, hope you are great! Wait you usually are! Another adventure, but I think you do better at night than in the morning, bc you can make all the noise it wouldn’t bother anyone! All of us are praying for you! It’s bc we all Love you and the way you pray to Jesus at the end of your videos! GODS BLESSINGS TO YOU PAUL ALWAYS! 🙏🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Paul. This was a very good scraping video. Lots of interesting items and good variety. Have you given any more thought or consideration to obtaining a trailer? It would dramatically increase your hauling capacity and your ability to handle days when there is an over abundance of scrap on the curb. Just wondering what your thoughts are. Thank you for all of your great videos and for emphasizing the Lord’s help and power to transform lives!
That changing baby table would be nice to have for my 10th great-grand son, he is due next week. That is a nice piece of furniture to have for babies and it is in nice condition.
You are going to have a big Bank of scrap there for when the prices go up,. How long before you think it will peek? Mike at the scrap yard will have to dig deep... 🤣👍🏼👍🏼🇬🇧 💥 All the best, ,Phil.
After I edited this video I went to the scrap yard. $75 in rotors and $75 for one load. I still have probably three loads or four loads of scrap at the house
AARRGGHHH...I love to refinish furniture. I see all that beautiful wood. Wow! Oh those cushions you left behind can cost up to $200 each for replacement. I KNOW, I have been pricing some this week!!!
Hi Paul. Great videos. I enjoy them a lot, helps keeps my mind sane with all the crazy things going on in this world. I like that small hammer you found, keep it in your truck, you never know how handy a hammer can be. Concerning sewing machines, most are plastic on the outside but an aluminum frame on the inside. I am currently in Brazil right now trying to get my son a passport to the US, easier said than done. It has been a long process. They do have scrappers here now but on a much smaller scale. God Bless.
Thank you for sharing your video . You make me laugh when you say smack omatic.. lol I was saying don't fall & smack your head with that workout bench. Have a great evening. Stay safe 🇨🇦🙏
I enjoyed watching you brings back old times . With my late husband and me doing this it's fun . My son name is also Paul . To bad you didn't live near me I'd give you metal . That my husband collective we brought things to the junkyard too . I don't have a truck now to do it .
