These are definitely 🔥 shoes. The black toes are my favorite Jordan 1's . I have both the 2013 and 2016 pairs deadstock. Was so happy to cop these 2024 reimagined black toes just before the push back. Will definitely double up on release day. As a og at 54 I love the Air Jordan text and black tongues for the nostalgia. 1000% the reason they got pushed back is because they are auditing stores to see who sold early. They are auditing random shops now.

I prefer the wings logo too, but at the same time it’s pretty cool to have just one pair that looks like the sample. I wouldn’t want this to be the norm moving forward, but it’s definitely cool to have one like this. Glad you guys are safe.

With how iconic that picture is (on the box), I would really love to have a pair that looked like it was taken from that picture. I don't mind the "air jordan" on the ankle for that reason. However, this shoe looks nothing like the one on the box 😅 they should have at lease made it an 85 cut. Or a jumbo swoosh.. but the newer shape ain't it. Still coppin

I wasn’t overly excited about these, but then as I started seeing videos of them, and the way Jordan did the story. I had to get them. Then they got pushed back, I got a pair off GOAT. And I will say I am amazed by these and the details. I’d give them a 9/10!

I like the reimagined series .. it's a twist to classics that makes things interesting to say the least instead of the same retros over and over.

They postponed them because Jordan 1 hype died and it's a shame because I LOVE these. Swapping the wings logo out to match that one promo pic goes incredibly hard. It's so low effort in such a dope way that I just love so much. I really am annoyed I have to wait for these and the black tongue is so sick. Oh, to mention about being exhausted with Jordan 1's, I can see that for the hype beasts, but for fans who love the 1 I don't see an issue. Jordan 1's are one of the best fitting shoes for my feet so let me get more and more pairs

If they drop to $120 @3:00 retail I’ll cop for the box and collection. I dig the OG black toe from 2016 it has better tumbled leather. All these reimagined pairs are played out except the Chicago 1 and Reimagined WC3’s

I like these quite a bit myself , even as not the biggest fan of the Reimagined series from JB. Black Toes are one of my all time favorite AJ1 colorways & blocking as well. Of course i prefer the 2016 clean / close to OG but this pair which is a take on the sample I appreciate as well. And even if not super recent we just got that OG pair in 2016 , and with AJ1s usually still very much wearable in that timeframe and i believe this Reimagined news / eventual release dropped the resale price on the 2016 pair as well. So i do like a slightly different take with these Reimanged BT1s. I like most everything about these ; though i actually wish they did not go with the aged midsole , never been keen on the aged aesthetic and to me just played out now. I also don't really like the medial text either. But still absolute must cop for me when they actually release.

I love the concept but these are a pass for me. If they would have done them in the 85 cut then I would 100% get them. With the history behind these they deserve to be 85 cut not the same cheap modern retro AJ1 style.
