Judging by what I learned from a comment back then on how Supercell is owned by Tencent which is a Chinese company, this is somehow not a rare occurence at all Some other games under Chinese companies also underwent this kind of treatment where after years and years of the game being so petty to the point where everyone just makes fun of it and starts leaving Then the game just decided to do an almost 180° and started treating their players really well out of nowhere, it's suspiciously done more often lately by these Chinese game companies
