I like how YOU made the decision not to win. Such an honorable thing to do. Let the commoners fight it out amongst themselves. You truly are a gentleman.
Both look great and look capable. Tip for disengaging the rear axle that might make it more useful. Before you lock it out, point the wheels where you want to go while still rolling. This removes any suspension preload and makes it more compliant to the next move you're setting it up for.
Sooooo great to see these beauties on the rocks! They look amazing, i hope you bring them back to Canada for the June comp in BBM! That way i can put my buggy in between both those winners 😂😂. Make us Canadians proud down there!
Absolutely fantastic job on your builds. I hadn’t heard of an F Toy up until this series and I have to say that it is about as rock buggy as I can handle. Thank you for taking us along on your journey. Best of luck!
Matt, both builds look great. Love the etching you did. On my RC for a CB antenna I found that the wire wound "E" string from a guitar covered in 1/16" heat shrink look better and act more realistic than the single wire that you used. Good luck in Colorado.
Two cool rigs. If was to build one it would be the Ftoy but with a link not a leaf set up. Loving the "I'm not going to win, going for fun" approach. Have fun dude! 😁👌
Great work really like the F-Toy great flex for a springer. Enjoy Colorado it's been warm lately 80's-90's bring sun screen! I wouldn't do anything different they're great the way they are👍
As always beautiful builds. Love the dig in the Ftoy. Possibly get a longer rear shackle and it will really give those leafs some better flex. Hope you enjoyed the comp, really looking forward to the video from that event.
They look great and Ftoy is on point with leafs! And the jimmy buggy I saw maybe one point where dig may have help. Bringing the front end up that small V notch instead of pushing into so hard but that has crazy OD also but don’t forget you have it in comp! Good luck!! 🤙
Wow. Just, wow!! Rigs look gorgeous on the rocks!! Both of them. Jimmy's my favourite, just looks like it's floating above the rocks. Sweet! FToy looks more like a not-special-off-road-vehicle and more scale, also beautiful. And your driving /4wheel-steering/filming skills? Incredible Matt! You've already won! 🎉
Those trucks are amazing! You have some serious talent Matt! Every one you build just keeps getting better and better! I would love to build an F-toy, and just like yours with leafs!
The etching on both trucks looks even better out in natural light. I don't know if I personally would put dig and rear steer on the same rig, as to me it seems you might spend more time thinking about which one to use in every situation hurting your time more than if the rig had one or the other.
I’ve built several tube chassis and have not done rear steer. But after watching you drive rear steer will be my next project. Super cool Riggs. Makes me wanna try a leafspring chassis also
How much overdrive on the waffles buggy and id love to see some rock lights and a light bar or two 😊 on them both 😌 also you are an amazing creator, builder, and one of my biggest inspirations to bring the RC community together 😊 Thats why Rocky Ridge RC-Park is being built here at the home of RC-Homesteaders🎉😊
Rigs look great Matt! At least when u don’t do to well at the comp, you always have the shine and show!!!🤣 Honestly dude I’m jealous. You’re a one talented Canadien! Have fun brother
Both incredible trucks, love the leafer for its honesty as a scale truck, I wonder if it might take on a few SJ traits in the future? always enjoy both of your channels, good luck in the comp from sunny UK
These rigs look reeeeal pretty like Matt. Nicely done sir. Woot woot. Now, remember, the tires go on the down side of the vehicle for maximum not being upside-downess.
The one thing I would do. Personally around the back roads in the Australian high country we currently have thousands of construction vehicles working on a huge tunnel project. All the vehicles are identical and carry a bright coloured flag up high , so for me I would change the ball to a flag. Look after your kid brother and remember he is just a kid and means well.
Hey Matt it's Matt from Alabama new email and all now life kicked me down for a minute but I'm still a RC guy!! Josh hooked it up on that build and you put the bling in it. I love that leaf buggy to! Nice builds! Good luck on Colorado trip wish I could go. Haven't wheeled in Colorado in couple years. If I hadn't started new Job I could say going to visit my mom in colorado!! Yall have fun I'll be watching from Bama!!!
love the videos, hopefully, someday, I can do quality videos like yours... never really thought I would say that because I am a still's guy ever since the early 80's :D
Beautiful buggy’s. Just watched your competition run on RU-vid. Amazing place to run your rigs. 2 celebrities in 1 vid? You and Josh. We’re so lucky. I have a technical question, I see you’re running a MT12. I have same radio cause I have a bunch of different receivers. And it doesn’t cheap in the hand like a Spektrum Rugged. I love the MT12, but are you getting a weak signal from your trucks? I’m recently have been running crawlers. So at 20-30 ft away, I get a weak signal warning. Are having better luck? Would you know a fix?
Dammit, and I was TOTALLY going to comment on your driving ability until you said not to! Those are gorgeous. Stellar builds. What's the total weight on each one? In pounds, please, for us lazy Americans.
Wonder if swivel shackles would help the f toy?! I used to run them on my full size Cherokee and my buddy's jeep yj, helped with flex a lot on the leafs!
I cover it as I built them, but to recap: FToy has a Fusion 2300kv 2-1, and the Jimmy has a Silent Assassin ESC and a Holmes V2 Revolver at 2200kv, both on 3S Tattu 850 mah batteries.
