G'day fishos!
In this week's episode, I venture out along the steps of West lakes, targeting Black Bream on lures. The lures of choice for this session were the Z Man 2.5" Grubz in Motor Oil, as well as the Daiwa Double Clutch 60SP in Ghost Wakasagi, both proving extremely effective on bream!

How do you check when the tide comes in in west lakes and nice catches.

Cheers Mark! They usually correspond with the ocean tides, I normally check the tides at Tennyson and go off that 🤙🏼

Loved the video Tom! Any tips on the bream in westlakes specifically? I've spent so many hours throwing those exact lures and colors and watched them turn away cheers mate!

Same trouble for me. Tom seems to know how to target these to perfection.

Hey guys! I've always found fishing in the morning's the way to go. An ultra light combo of 1 to 3kg or 2 to 4kg is perfect, matched with a 2000 reel and 4lb braid and leader. One of my go-to lures would be the Z Man Grubz 2.5" in motor oil. A slow retrieve, with a small lift of the rod tip is all you need to entice a bream! Also, make sure to move around and try different spots. Hope this helps!!🤙🏼

What's the best way to work the grub ?
@TomsFishinAdventures
@TomsFishinAdventures 4 года назад
I normally use as slow as retrieve as possible. Let it it the bottom then a gentle lift with the rod tip and repeat. You'll often find most fish will pick it up off the bottom on the pause. Hope this helps you mate!
