The nosferatu thing was prolly a throwback to what scared the artists and story writers as kids. And it only makes sense(in their way anyway), to have everything else be just a coincidence, like the kid coming in from the dark, the bus, the phone ringing. But the lights are being flickered by an actual monster? A tongue in cheek joke with that one 🤣

For the nosferatu part, it’s a play on the name “Nosferatu”. That’s the name of a vampire movie made in post WWI Germany I believe. At some point in the movie, there is the titular vampire “Nosferatu”. The thing in spongebob put more emphasis on the “no” part

Bruh!! That story reminded me of the first curse word I got in trouble for when i was 8. Them damn Looney Tunes back in the day. It was that Bugs Bunny episode on that plane with the alien thing and he rams the door and runs out into the air. He turns i to a donkey and it said "Jackass" so im thinking he did something dumb therefore jackass. My little brother did something stupid, i called him a jackass and got INTERROGATION BEAT.
