This is my selfish, narcissistic mother 😩 After 30+ yrs of manipulation & abuse, I finally closed the door on our relationship and moved over 16hrs away. She always thought I wouldn’t leave or cut her off and that I had to put up with her no matter what she did because I am her daughter. She had me competing with her over my children’s love and tried to turn them against me. She tried to ruin my marriage. I kept seeing her betrayal in dreams several times. I grieved her tremendously the last 6 months and set solid boundaries with her before I moved on. I feel so much lighter now and it’s only been 14 days since I moved.

First I would like to say how sorry I am to hear this. And I really do believe you'll come out stronger in the end. All he is trying to do is break you down. Please don't allow him to do that. He did what he did, cause he's weak and losing control over you. But that gave him no right to do that. He's just hurting because apparently you don't want him and your finally waking up to his Bs. What ever you do love, no matter how bad this hurts you, do not let it show, don't let him see your pain. And most importantly don't stoop to his level and react to it. I told him that the reason he wants to make women feel insecure is because his momma always told him he ain't sh*t, he don't know who his daddy is and he doesn't even have a G.E.D. I told him maybe if he worked on those things in his life he would feel better about himself. And that people used to laugh at me for talking to him but I stayed because I liked him and he treated me like shit and wanted me to feel ugly and unloveable.
