50% of the shield that moonstone puts on other units gives them max health instead because of forbidden idol. And Idol is on him because he shields himself every time he ults
I think no, we saw couple times that units are shielded. You can check it out in one of the last fights with the umbral guy, when Sylas was focusing Soraka she was shilded a big amount. Shield to max health conversion only works for forbidden idol holder. If forbidden idol was for example on thresh, we could see max health increase instead of shield when ornn shields him with the moon stone. Not hundred percent sure, but it should work like this
