hey invain the damage interuption is duration based not number of hits which the duration is 9 seconds on her asc2 passive. The melt ganyu set up is benny skill burst, nahida skill burst, dehya skill x2 than ganyu charges than her ult then u use dehya ult
And the saddest thing about this is that even though she was originally made as a dedicated burgeon support, she is somehow worse than Thoma at proccing. They really did her dirty.
@@elnino3740 dmg reduction, off field pyro from E, self healing, low multipliers. These are all the requirements for burgeon support. Obvioulsy she was never stated to be that way but she was stated to perform reactions and the way they designed her seems to cater to that area since she's not meant to play with vape/melt like traditional pyro. Unfortunately they made her worse than thoma so the only thing she's good at rn is just burning cuz burning can last long enough for her long ass E cooldown to be negligable.
She definitely doesn’t look like she was made for burgeon , she has a 2.5 sec Cooldown on her e procs when fast procs is literally the only thing u need for burgeon , all the other things u mentioned are just similarities between thoma and dehya , the basic thing of fast procs is not there in dehya
Honestly I love Dehya's personality, when I first saw her I thought she'd be that typical "Oh I'm buff strong merc girl but im also kinda of a brute like guy" not that there is nothing wrong with that, those girls are badass and some of my fav characters. But it's a breathe of fresh air to see her have some femininity and still be hella badass in lore. Love her line about her makeup box
Exactly! What's "funny" is the way they handled her and Candace. Dehya looks though, a mercenary and her behaviour at first might look though but she loves make up and feminine things which I love while Candace personality is sweet, kind and even her way of dressing is more "feminine" compared to Dehya "masculine" clothes however she hates feminine stuff, accessories and clothes (but is willing to do it if asked even if she would prefer not to do it) and I love this contrast between Candace sweet personality but more masculine personality (also a menace to public safety to be honest because of the playing pillow fights with pillows filled of uncooked rice XD) as Dehya is more the common sense of the group once you get to know her better
I am MAD at everyone [including myself] who got her based on her Looks and Personality because that will send Hoyo the message that they can sell us utter GARBAGE that is barely function as long as it looks good. :( Dehya's only Function is oh the doorbell rang switch to Dehya [cause she is immortal with no timelimit unlike zhongli/layla] and go answer that door.
I dropped like 200 for her. I didn't know she was going standard *and* had no idea about her problems. Yet as much as she has problems she has and will continue to be my main. I got good subdps like Raiden to help her out, Yelan is my burst girl, and Barbara is a great healer combined with giving constant Vape effect for her. Yes, its hard and yeah some of it is cope and her stunning looks, great va, and outstanding story inclusion for me... but she's my girl. I love her attacks being so aggressive and feral looking to the point idc about the extra half second. Her burst continues to win me with her being so aggressive and while i wish it would sync with Yelan's, Raiden's still procs so its enough. Ill cope hard for a buff but she ain't going anywhere off my team. Now excuse me, my Thignari needs to be sent out again for another 16 hours for the grave sin of 50/50 invasion on my Ab Catgirl.
Serpent Spine’s passive actually doesn’t work on her because of the damage she takes for her teammates, and she scales much more with atk than hp. Just some info if you want her to be a damage dealer.
Dehya's burst is considered a single attack in the files, meaning jumping, freezing, swapping, and anything that would interrupt an attack will do the same to her burst and end it immediately. It's why things like Xingqiu's swords don't work with her cause they register for every attack, and her burst is just 1 attack
Wow! HoYo is so generous, they gave us a break so we can all save for the next banner! Dehya feels intentionally bad. And the fact they’re making her a standard is even more vile. It’s one thing if we can at least choose to skip her banner. But now we’ll be cursed with her on the standard banner and 5050s.
There is no such thing as building pity. It is a term people, especially streamers, should quit using. There is only risking the pity you already have, and people should really refer to it that way. You "risk pity" to pull for the four star. And yeah, there are very few people that accidentally get a character. It can happen. I'm sure we've all seen at least one video of a streamer wishing on the wrong banner. That is an accidentally acquired character. But if you are purposely wishing on X's banner and wind up with X, that's not an accident. You clicked on that banner on purpose.
PRO TIPS FOR BUILDING A PROPER SUPPORT/DPS DEHYA. AHEM. Put her on 4 piece lavawalker, this set it actually HUGE for her and it buffs her pyro damage pretty well. For dehya I recommend wolves gravestone or serpent spine, or even the fish. She’s CRACKED in burgeon, like absolutely cracked. I use a full support burgeon dehya, with yaoyao, sucrose, and bennett. Also yea she’s hp scaling but not in the way yelan is, dehya just needs it so she don’t die, while yelan needs it for damage. If you want FULL DAMAGE go wolves gravestone with 4 marachusee. But dehya is made for burgeon so I’d go the team I recommended with lavawalker, oh and also I use the most basic EM claymore on her, it’s literally a 3 star, but it give her big damage in burgeon soooo idc. That concludes my love letter for dehya
I unironically really want Dehya to use as a wanderer support, her inturruption resist and light pyro application + dmg transfer would be so nice and zhongli doesn’t swirl
The next to worst part is: crappy as her kit is, she's fun to play. It's like they intentionally messed her up so people would pay more attention to baizhu+reruns+Fontaine in a couple patches #FixDehya
It is sad how much hate and nerfs did throw Hoyoverse to her making it like a 3* character. However, I have her with her signature weapon at c0 being a Main dps and she's doing more or less 45k per ult, the only thing that I would change in this video is when you have at c0 use a Atk sands more than a HP%, when you have it c1, use a HP% sands. I'm only hoping that Hoyo would change her. #FixDehya

Props to his efforts to make Dehya viable but every hits she makes, very disappointing and at the same time unsatisfying. This is the reason why I watch this kind of content, to know if I’m going to really pull for a character or not. Thanks for your effort InVain!
He didn't make any efforts, only level 80, the talents were substandard, the artifact and weapon showcase was mixmatched. You should watch someone who actually invests in a character to do a showcase, otherwise you aren't seeing what they're capable. This was clickbait content for views.
@@jrandell217 i understand ur opinion but i have watched a ton of showcases aside from inVain. That’s why I said “The reason why I watch this kind of content”. Not only focusing on one video but in general. Also, some characters can be powerful at lvl 80 and they can show enough numbers. I’m not saying Dehya is bad, it’s just that through all the videos I have watched about her kit, I’m not into it.
It’s a feature sadly. Because her burst is just one long animation (she will attack on her own in her burst but spamming na’s makes her attack more), jumping cancels it just like it cancels many other animations. Usually it’s used for good things, like animation cancels on Klee or Hu Tao for optimal play, but here it works against Dehya 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲

My Dehya hits 70k--50k per punch and she hits 11 times. You're just building her wrong, i used sucrose instead of Kazuha too. Give her em sands, pyro dmg goblet and crit circlet, substats should be crit, em, atk and hp isnt that bad. I used the exact same stats i just told you. for artifact sets: 2pc atk%(shimenawa, warrior, ect.) 2pc crimson, 4pc emblem of severed fate are optimal but if i remember correctly i just gave her my Hu Tao's artifacts which were 4pc crimson. I also used wolf's gravestone. Dont remember what her talent levels were, pretty sure its 2/6/7. My team comp was Dehya, Sucrose, Mona and Bennet. But i also tried using Kaeya, he also works and some people even used Nilou for her hydro application. P.S. i havent tried her new artifact set so take that as you will
It's not really building her wrong. Just like many other Genshin content creators playing new released characters for their videos they just take what they have at hand at the moment instead of going farming because farming for artifacts be it F2P or Whale is not fast unless you are extremely lucky, but even if you get lucky it takes a week at best instead of a month. If we imagine a scenario in which it takes a week or so to get possibly good artifacts you also have to hope they will roll well. They don't say it but they know the artifacts could be better, however it takes way too much time and even if you are lucky it's still a week of farming and hope that it will roll at least good even if not perfect.
People keep thinking that she is a burst dps, she is a sub- burst dps. Her main focus is her skill and you should ult when you get it. Simple as that. She has consistent pyro application and she gives a lot of survivability to your characters. She isn't necessarily bad, people are genuinely overreacting. Also she is a standard character, she isn't meant to be amazing. Building her with ATK gives more damage and building her with HP gives more survivability, it is your choice on how you want to use her
DEHYA GUIDE 2024 FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS IT: no shade to vain cuz this is a year old but it does pain me to see ppl misunderstand her potential so much, even on her guide videos I don’t see ppl using her on her best possible ways so I’m here to help !! I got dehya on release and have been c0 ever sense, I am waiting for her c1 and technically have her built for c1 but either way she still does abt 20k per tik on her burst and abt 15k per tik with her skill with with my set up basically has almost 100% up time (emphases on almost) quick disclaimer it is always best to just use who you like and meta really doesn’t matter that much, I have a top 20% hu tao with soh and I still choose to play dehya over her bcuz I jus love dehya, so u can trust my judgement, anyways I wanna get weapons out of the way, obv her bis is beacon but I don’t have that so I use serpent spine, I honestly don’t think any other weapon works as well but if u don’t have either the standard wolves, skyward, and if ur lucky even sea lord will work but beacon and serpent are her best, beacon for obv reasons but serpent because it gives a major atk boost and helps with her crit (which she lacks sense she accents with hp ) now there are only really two ways to use dehya, as an onfeild burst dps (like raiden) which is what I recommend because it is the most fun, or as a dmg mitagator sub dps, I use her as a burst dps so I know more abt that and will start there, first off emblem is basically your only option for dps dehya, even if ur c0 u should always go hp sands pyro gob and crit circ, for team comps I find her absolute best team is burgeon, her aoe can blow up a lot of bloom cores at once kinda like nilou but tbh a lot faster, so for this team I recommend Dehya, furina, nahida, and Kokomi but ofc u can change around whoever u want, other good options for this team are yaoyao baizhu Mona, moving on you can also do a normal vape comp with whoever you’d like, even yelan works as long as u only use her burst when dehyas burst is on cd but I’ll come back to yelan, another good team is overloaded but it is a bit more clunky to play and her kit doesn’t have any benefits towards overload reactions unless you have chevvy, so dehya chevvy fischl and yea but I’ll also come back to this later, melt is also an option that exists but I wouldn’t recomend it, now onto sub dps dehya, her best artifacts are vg and them tenacity, Vg for more personal gain while ten for more team buffs, same substats and weapons and tbh if u alr have a good emblem set u can still use it for this but it won’t giver ur team any buffs, just keeps her dmg higher, the best comps for this are Wriothesley melt, burgeon (again but with a dendro or hydro main dps), Yelan on field vape, or amy vape team, 🚩🚩and then I wanna say it’s looking like a certain white haired father would actually benefit a lot from dehya, either in overload with chevvy, fischl or yae (unless u don’t have chevvy them it would just be father fish yae dehya) or vape team with father dehya yelan and then your choice of a fourth, I bring up this mysterious father character sense it looks like she won’t be able to be healed so dehyas dmg mit will help a lot, 🚩🚩but anyways I hope this helps and remember anyone can be good with the right investment
You wanna know what she is great for? Consistent burning damage. It allows you to melt a tonne without having to worry about keeping the pyro application up, it might work with vaporise but I don't remember, either way she is great for someone who wants to melt a lot.
Dayha, I believe she was designed for overload comps. She has a ton of knockback resistance and HP. Overload explosions won't send her flying and won't immediately kill her. Lava walker set to resist the fire dmg from overload. Can anybody think of a good weapon? is there a better bloodstained great sword?
My dehya on her own hits for 11k-13k per punch on her own but i do have her weapon and when i use ayato's ult with her it jumps to 20k without benny buff
Sadly she doesn't work in burgeon teams very well. Her skill procs every 2.5 sec(which is slow) and she doesn't proc XQ/Yelan burst inside her ult. She was supposed to be burgeon driver but she's not and I'd rather use Thoma. She's good for aesthetics though
Bro I simped for dehya so hard when she first released and I was so desperate for pulls that I literally speedran the entire Sumeru archon quest in one night for pulls let’s just say I didn’t get dehya until the entire archon quest was done and the sun was up and now I have her c2 and I need to work on getting her some better artifacts because her current ones work but could be so much better
So I got lucky with my Dehya and got her at 0 pity and won the 50/50. I use 10 of the 23 free Archon quest wishes. Currently at 40 pity going for Cyno. I had a 2nd Wolf's Gravestone so I put that on her. Currently running 2 pc Gladiator and 2 pc EoSF for Recharge. I also used an amazing HP sands with 32% Crit Damage, Pyro Goblet, and Crit Rate Circlet. She's level 80 with 31,176 HP, 1783 Attack, with 135 EM. My Crit Rate is 52.5, Crit Damage 106, ER 140.7, and Pyro DMG 46.6. I am happy with her stat wise just haven't played around with her yet.
I pulled for her as well but because I wanted the character I don't really care about all the meta characters I play genshin to have fun not be a tryhard lol
just came back to say 4 piece tenacity dehya with em kirara and em kazhua makes for a very fun burning comp where eveyrthing dies and you run around as cat box
i like how much you're trying to get her to work. you'll definitely get more dmg by focusing on her burst. you also lose the stacks from serpent spine since she takes dmg. also, the music in this video seems really loud compared to you. it gets hard to hear what you say, especially right after you tried out that burgeon team on geozishap at 25:00 . i think it mainly started getting worse after the half-ish way point, or that may be when i started noticing it. just thought i'd give a heads up

Hey! I figured out a decent team for Deyha. Surcose is the key. Literally! Deyha, Mona,Surcose, and Layla. Build Surcose on EM. It's pretty fun. I've been doing this, and Deyha's damage is about 66k to 32k. It's very fun comp. I highly recommend it. Build all supports on ER.
Building main DPS Dehya is like building Crit Kokomi. It's expensive and pointless, she's not made to play that role. Too many people here on RU-vid are so focused on Abyss performance that they completely forget Genshin is a casual game and significant part of its player base does not give a **** about Abyss, they just run around in the overworld and are looking for characters that will make it more pleasant for them. Significant part of the playerbase also plays on mobile only and that's very different experience from what you get on PC. RU-vid creators may forget they exist but Hoyo does not, they cater to all their customers, not just Abyss freaks. I don't know what exactly Hoyo intended with Dehya but I refuse the idea that they intentionally made her bad. We just don't understand what their intent was and are too stuck in our preconceptions on her to even try to understand.
I don't think they made her bad on purpose, but I do think they don't fully understand their game. My belief is that she's supposed to be like Kokomi. By that, I mean a primarily defensive character that applies her element off-field and can play at being a DPS during her burst. I say play at being, because a real DPS will majorly out do her, plus they designed the kits to have a major drawback that limits their ceiling (no crits for Kokomi, no triggered on attack for Dehya). However, what they failed to realize is why Kokomi works, which is why I say they do not truly understand their own game. She has 100% uptime capability on her healing, and even if she didn't, healing can have gaps in coverage, because you can make it up later. Healing also can take you to full. Second, and more importantly, Kokomi is hydro. Hydro is the most useful element in the game. That Kokomi combines this with healing, all from off-field, makes her great. And, for the more casual crowd, her damage is decent enough during her burst. Meanwhile, Dehya doesn't work nearly as well. She has gaps in her coverage. She can only delay death, but any ground (hp) lost by her teammates, is lost. So she potentially needs a second support to heal the team, in a game where we don't want/need two defensive characters on a team. Third, she's pyro, an element that is mostly useful if it applies a lot of gauge or hits really hard. She does neither. She also is limited in how often she deals pyro damage, so not good for burgeon. And then there are all the QoL things, the various bugs and so on. But these are all things I doubt they considered. They just gave her what they thought was defensively viable, and about the same DPS as Kokomi. They ignored the complaints about her numbers, because they were mostly about DPS, and they knew they didn't want her to be a DPS. And it all doesn't work. Which they should have seen coming, especially if they understood Kokomi and how players build teams. Oddly enough, this situation has happened before, also with a pyro claymore character. That time, Hoyoverse tried to make a pyro version of another existing healer, and it didn't go so well, though still better than this time around. I speak, of course, when they made a variation of Noelle (a claymore user who shields based on defense and can apply defense to charged attacks at C6) and gave us Xinyan.
lastly, there's rumors about buffying dehya up a sh*t ton in Fontaine sometime. Making her a full on support character who can actually carry. they might not come true, but it would be sick if they did and you could say HEY BICHES LOOK AT MY GODDESS AND HOW SHE ALREADY WAS SHES BEAUTIFUL I TOLD YOU SO ALREADY
Mannn, i wanted deyha when i saw her, but now seeing this video seeing all the investment Meanwhile my gaming vaping with xinqiu and xiangling dealing more damage, its sad to see such a cool character not be used.
Sigh, this needs to be said. Deyha is NOT bad, any more than any other character is bad. If you put the effort to build her, she does just as well as any other character. Right now, she out performs my Hu Tao, Diluc, Yanfei, Xinyan, and Klee. She may not be the best by far, but she is far from the worst, give it a year or so and people will be doing 1,000,000 dmg Deyha builds. That's just how the game works, new set's will come out that bring her dmg up to ridicules levels, at the moment I would say she is the first "Average" character rather that the worst character. Remember what people said about Bennet, Xingchoe, Kokomi, and even Amber, yet there are showcases where all these characters shine.
her dmg scales more from atk based on the numbers in her skills.. the hp scaling is just extra bonus since she taking damage for the team, this is why shes double scaling but her damage comes from atk scale, i build mine on atk and she does great dmage
she is by far one of the hottest characters and is fun to play but the only thing she is good at is launching enemies into the void if there is one really wish they made her better...
Lol couldn't take it serious after the if this was Hu Tao would 2 shot it with the same investment. Oh, the main on-field intended damage character would 2 shot with 3 supports? And trying out different comps without different application to the artifact sets and just keepin her in the same overall underpowered artifact setup and weapon combination like not goin EM with burgeoning with a better weapon, not utilizing the weapons descriptive function as well when you were tryin her main dps, was a very, very poorly constructed show-case unfortunately. Unlucky.
The BP makes a big difference in xp book (and mora) acquisition. And if you have also been playing since launch, and don't 90 every character, well, by now, you're at a point where your supply is building up. The Teapot helped a lot, too, providing xp books for sale. And if you wish more than a F2P, you also get more shop currency, and can buy the books from there every month as well. Of course, content creators tend to wish for and build more characters than most, because content, and so they typically refresh resin. But for the rest, it is mostly a matter of time until your xp books coming in exceeds the rate at which you use them. It just takes quite a while.
Sacrificial greatsword makes dehya consistent burgeon driver and sacrificial greatsword proc its passive with deyha's field damage as long as she is on field. Just think of using dehya as em razor team(dehya nahida Xingqui kuki), and not having to worry about er like burgeon Thoma.
@@youdontneedtoknow7548 with sacrificial greatsword dehya's skill smacks the ground 4 times in a large aoe whenever you need them. Try it out for yourself, it works well driving dehya's consistent 30k burgeon and 15k overload damages
If you have to spend 5000 resin just to make her at C6 as good as hutao at c 0… you have proved no one wrong, at all. If she cannot beat de Luke ina DPS battle, she’s not worth having on your team, ever.
