don't worry I listened to no way out, forever and more of diddy's project, especially diddy's talking voice in some of his interludes. And listen to all biggie tracks from front to back where diddy cant go for one track without talking or doing ad libs. Sure both jid and diddy have similar voice tones, even though jid is more of a better rapper and writer than diddy. Dont assume that just j. cole talk about his incident with diddy, doesn't mean he really have include him in his song. We rappers could always be rivals to our idols since j cole talk about his respect for diddy. This track is assembled with dreamville features with bas on the chorus and bridge and jid talking at the end. I even thought bas was james fauntleroy because he sounded like him. But then again the outro is jid talking because we are not use to him talking like on his own songs.

This production is better than Sing About Me in my opinion, but kendrick's message is different from coles in my opinion. Not comparable, if that makes sense.

@@jordanlee997 yeah of course. It’s just something about that chill smooth vibe that instantly made me remember that Kendrick masterpiece. Stylistically I think they are comparable, but of course quality and content is nothing on the J Cole song as compared to Kendrick

Sing about me is still the better song by a mile but Ik what you mean about the production being better, it gives such a chill vibe to the song, shoutout cole...and Kendrick of course lol

@@bakhtiyarguseinov9402 To me, most of Kendrick's songs are like a monthly listen when you need that type of message. IMO Cole delivers a really nice message and at the same time provides something that I'll listen to on a daily basis. Like they're in two different categories for me.
