Yeah a real car...haha. It's a toss up between a GT-R or a 911, the Porsche is winning at the mo, but I have some other stuff going on in the next couple of years, so may have to wait. So I've banned myself from buying too much at the mo, but couldn't resist a Felony 😬

I really want to buy one but they are £299 for the kit before you have to buy motor, esc's, radio, receiver, lexan paint ect it is going to come to around £6-7 hundred pound all in? I was looking at the axial sct10 and scx10 II kits and they are both at the high £200's before electronics 😬 it's a shame because I know lots of enthusiasts would buy them if they were more reasonable..
I reckon you can get it all in for about £400-£450 for a half decent system. Quicrun 1080 Crawler ESC is £35, Holmes Hobby Trailmaster £20, Servo £10, paint £15, DumboRC Transmitter £25, Lipo £20.
Big plus for always wanting to put in some action footage; it's all about the hobby that way, not generating views with "cliffhangers", like too many rc tubers do. But A quick build up is also nice to watch ;)

@@TomleyRC yeah you're right but a 6x6 has one axle more than a motorcycle 2+1 3 so a 6x6 has three wheels my mistake I thought this was a 6x6 because I couldn't see the fourth wheel at the back corner
I'm waiting for a Redcat Gen 8 kit to arrive from the States. It was a toss up between the Gen 8 or the TRX 4 Sport, the Gen 8 won mainly on the price. So it will be interesting to see how you get on with your TRX 4 👍
My 7 year old son and I built one of these, a couple of weeks ago, and he was able to help with the gearbox, axles, and suspension, with no issues. Its finished now, and is awesome. He loves this, and has an FTX Mauler coming for his birthday in a month, just in time to get it out in the autumn. Loving the videos. Thanks. 👍🏻
Guys , i have a question: Why are so many people acting weird when it comes to traxxas? Since I'm new to the hobby, i discovered that they're pretty expensive sometimes, but many people in the crawler community keep bashing traxxas and I really wanna know why! ^^ Thanks in advance! ;)

Just a few question concerning the truck. Does the kit come with the grease and oil to put in the diffs and gears and do you have to. Does it also come with shock oil. Will it suit a 3500KV brushless motor with a 5mm shaft. And with the servo did you have to adjust your steerin EPA, if so how did you do that.
A lot of folks ask which crawler to get. I personally am not a fan of RTR’s and normally recommend an assembly kit. An assembly kit will help you learn about your truck and how to work on it. RTR has its place and in most cases the RTR version is less expensive, but this one that after you build it with a good $20 Holmes motor, good $40 HW1080 ESC and decent under $50 servo that you can get going for $20-$30 more than the RTR (with much better parts by the way) is the TRX4 Sport Unassembled Kit. Great video that should help anyone get over any fears over building the kit version of this truck!
Hoonigan have just launched a RC sticker pack, hopefully you pre-ordered the black Arma Felony, but that with the Hoonigan stickers would look sweet, absolutely love that things, and watching Aaron/RC Sparks drift his in that massive welding shop totally sold me on that car. !!!

I am legally blind and after buying 8 RTRs (a sport included) I decided I want to try and build a RC and chose the TRX4 sport kit to build a custom chassis crawler. It went together super easy and I loved building it. I ordered a capra kit immediately afterward. Stock tires work awesome if you cut out the lugs on them. Look up cutting lugs on TRX4 tires, easy and free mod that works really well. Flipping the bumper mounts also gives you better approach and departure angles another free mod. I have two, the RTR sport and a custom chassis sport & drive trains are bulletproof.

I do too or lucas tacky but I wanted try specifically rc stuff think called cow butter , Tomley...you electrician, the grease in diffs in arrmas looks just like electrical grease i forget the name ,i found jar on Mercedes generator thought i had special grease but just electrical 😆 i tried anyway bc its dence thinking stay cleaner

Good idea with the breaks for questions Phil. It's difficult with build videos because it depends if you are trying to help someone to build the kit or you are just making a piece of general entertainment. I remember getting stuck a couple of times on the Yeti kit and luckily someone had done a really long set of videos of building it in great detail. Wouldn't have watched it if I hadn't been building it though whereas your video is a bit more about the chit chat so anyone could watch. Looks like a great kit but I will never buy another Traxxas as they are a bunch of bastards for trying to put other companies out of business and sometimes succeeding! Mind you if someone sent me a free one then my ethics would go out of the window :-)
I was starting think I was only one felt this way about traxxas, they make some good rigs but if they had gotten there way we have no choices, they go after small companies too bullies of rc world lol
