From humble beginnings in Bristol where a lack of opportunities forced many artists to create their own styles and world, Inkie went on to London to build on his experience and reputation becoming one of the UK's most renowned graffiti artists who has gone on to work with giants in the gaming world but still managed to keep his reputation on a street level well and truly intact. With 40 years of experience within the Hip Hop culture which started from a punk background, there have been many ups and downs, some testing his resilience and others rewarding him for his incredible contribution to the art & culture. We caught up with Inkie in Newcastle @ The Bridge event for a quick impromptu chat but hope to get a proper full length interview at some point in the not too distant future.
