@@homoerectus6953 I agree the pace is a little too fast. I think he may also be asking about the background sounds, which don’t really do much for me one way or another. But let me be clear, even if no changes are made at all, this will still be one of the better HFY channels. Really, the only thing holding it back in my opinion is the occasional seemingly AI generated content.

A good story told by an actual person. No word salads, just good clear speech. The voice characterisations for the various characters in the story is great too. Throw in ambient sounds and sound effects and you end up with something that is actually pleasant to listen too. A great channel.

I've quickly grown tired of the stories (which may or may not belong to the owner of the channel) read by a computer. And then we have this, on the complete opposite of the spectrum, not only read by an actual person, but read WELL.

read well, but I don't believe the stories are by human writers. There are too many contradictions and inconsistencies and failures in the promise for a 30 min. or less short story for a human writer. Even One proofread and rework would drastically improve the quality.

I followed this channel about a week ago getting into the whole genre of these stories. While This particular story isn't my cup of tea. I love the added sound effects, production value. And I'm curious why you stopped? It doesn't seem like your newer videos have this. And I wish they did This story even though I wasn't entertained by the content was so entertaining because of the effort you put into it. This is an amazing video. Please do more.

Decent,pace is fine, audio if fine too, Story is crap. Its breaks mind way into another alternate story, clearly multiple story versions blended together.Or at the very least a part cut out at 16:33. Earth and humanity its fleets are gone, yet inquisitor want to keep it human around to learn battle tactics, fleet positions, earth doctrines,defenses.

Audio good, reading good, few sound effects to add ambience also good. The writing was the weakest part. Too much repetition and it came across as trying too hard for how little plot there actually was. Barely anything actually happens here and there is no actual reason to give credence to both the reactions of the xeno scum or even why everyone is so hesitant other than the human seems like a capable melee fighter - which was incongruous with the fact he just got thawed out of the ice and was described as gaunt. The ending especially - why on earth is one single human a risk? There are a couple tidbits that indicated some legal problems based on the Federation charter - but no explanation or even leading tidbits to give the ominous feeling that is trying to be conveyed legitimacy.

Because its AI generated, these things are given thousands of images of stuff that are classified as starships and then they make a composite based on that. Most models are trained on what is considered classics, public domain or similar. Since the Millennium Falcon design is based in turn from something very much in the public domain(flying saucer) chances of getting a ship design similar to it are higher.

I think this channel so far has at least slightly outshined most of the other HFY channels. the sound effects for me are cool and lend a different tone, though they dont make or break anything. The reading does however, sound more natural and I do appreciate that. As for people complaining about the reading being too fast, I personally think its fine, but I also find most audiobooks or audio readings too slow, so that might just be my ADHD lol.

The story was excellent and all the extras added a high quality finish to that excellence. Thank you so much for all your endeavors to bring this story to us. Please, don't leave us hanging on the cliff's edge to what happens to Captain DeMarco and Captain Varak and his crew. I don't know how you select the artwork that accompanies your stories - whether it is "stock" or created to go with the story - but it matches up with the story much better than the majority of others do. The one thing that would improve it would be if the artwork reflected the character descriptions given and those descriptions continued to be shown in all the subsequent artwork. Sorry to be so long-worded, but that means I like what you're doing. And guess what - you have become the one and only scifi channel that I've subscribed to. Keep up the great work!

mmmm. Not sure where the break is. Subtexts (without Ytube CC enabled) is showing Chitin at 0:31 and i'm seeing similar chitin subtexts later....but the VA is not pronouncing the word chitin...he's pronouncing Kiten...with a K not a Cha sound. Turning on YT Close Caption (CC enable)..its getting translated as kite according to audio. Either the Subtitles put into the movie have mistakenly written the wrong spelling for a sound - K vs Cha or the Voice Actor (VA)...is not familiar with the pronunciation of the letters Cha Chitan vs K sound Kite Kitten. Worst scenario is the author of a book write chitin and decided that it should be pronounced with a K which NO ONE is going to read in their head and pronounce that way. I cant go on... If this was meant to be a professionally released movie or clip an was put in front of reviewers or live audience..it would be eaten alive for something so obvious to be corrected before it went to production.
