13:30 has got to be one of the best detailed animations/boss battle intros. Not even modern 2.5D or even 2D remixes done by Sega devs match this.

15:30 this part is sad, if you pause the video at just the right time, when HE lunges at tails, tails tries to run, and you can legit see tears coming out of his eyes, not a small one, but like a flow that is enough to run down your face.

One of my favorite 'exe' games, due to it actually managing to pull of tension well by mixing scares and actual gameplay! Loved your reactions to it, hope you'll play this if it ever fully releases!

Dude honestly I thought the whole .exe thing was dumb, you can predict what will happen so easily. But now I found them entertaining and much scarier than the Sonic.exe in the past. So many people have been making new exe games because of LuigiKid’s challenges. It’s nice to see peoples creative ideas of exe games especially in this generation.

Is refreshing to see a rom hack story instead of a "haunted game" one. It looks amazing too

5:09 shows tails in a mangled way with a burnt head and shows the texts: “MAKE IT STOP” And “AHHHHHH” because his head was burnt off brutally by EYX 15:30 is where this is shown.

Honestly, Sonic.exe isn't that scary anymore since it's so predictable, and overall not THAT eerie. However this... This... Complete horror of a game... Even after we have seen how this all goes, we are still all freaked out about this game. Props to whoever made this because they made it very well.

Just noticed, in ryans play through, at 13:26 for a split second, I think that's knuckles on that ledge. In Dawkins, it was ray standing there. Pause at the right time and you'll see it for those who don't see it.

That was insane, especially at the part when the game said "I WANT TO SEE YOU" and the game opened a tab saying "access to webcam denied" that startled me a lot.

I am gonna be honest. I haven’t watched Ryan a lot nowadays. But now I am starting to get into him more. Ryan really helped me with stuff, I am proud I found his channel :)

This EXE game really scared me as I watched the gameplay..but I feel comforted, as I'm not alone watching it, hearing Ryan's commentary. Helps take my mind off of the scary bits for a moment.

small things/easter eggs you might’ve missed 7:22 to 7:31 the score on the top left says “sonic stop please” in yellow (the word please is flashing in red) 7:32 the score on the top left says “somebody help me” in yellow (the word me is flashing in red) also, i like the twist where sonic.exe is chasing ray as the classic creepy drown buildup music plays, instead of waiting until the music stopped, he immediately caught up to him midway through the music. it was incredibly unexpected but such a perfect twist on how sonic.exe can bend reality in the game and really mess with the player’s minds. 7:39 (pause or you’ll miss it) the score on the top left says “player save me” in yellow as he looks at the screen, extremely shortly before he gets caught. edit (i almost missed this) 13:36 if you pause at the right moment, you can see a distorted version of sonic behind the rock with a butterfly pattern on it. (right before he kills dr robotnik) the distorted sonic immediately peeked out from behind as soon as dr robotnik was laughing when sonic got knocked to the ground by his robot counterpart. as if it planned for both of them to arrive there beforehand

That intro was solid gold (rings) 😂! This is so crazy because I literally recorded a video of me reading the sonic.exe creepy pasta on my channel recently and it was so creepy 🥺. Loving this video!

To be honest this has to be the best Sonic exe mod it's terrifying as hell!

Sonic.EYX is just such a well made Sonic.EXE game. The developers even went through the effort of essentially creating their own retro Sonic game, complete with original sprite work and animations and level design. The tension is always kept at 1000% and the jumpscares are legitimately unsettling and scary. EYX is a horrific version of Sonic.EXE as well, I love the focus on eye horror in this game. The body horror is there too with EYX being tall and lanky but the eye horror is a great twist on the character too. I'm excited to see more of this game and more from the developers of the game

When the game called you "User", I'm fairly certain it was trying to read the name of your account, on your computer. This is probably because the game wanted to the scare the player by using their real name, which would most likely be their account name. I'm thinking it didn't work in this case, possibly because your account name on your computer is defaulted to "User." Just a thought.

This is THE most impressive Sonic Horror game i have seen in my life.

I used to watch .EXE games alot when I was about 10 or so, but I got too scared to watch them after awhile, but now I'm 13 almost 14 next August, and I watched horror movies since I was 5 or 6! So I'm pretty used to this stuff now, but it's still too cursed to directly look at if I'm gonna be honest XD but ngl: it's like your downloading a freaking *virus* into your computer so thats what makes it scarier! 😂😱💀

The tactic the creators used in this mod is done so well. Sonic coming onto the screen is so fast for you to react to, and that's what makes it so much scarier. You are just finishing up the natural thought/reaction of, "What is going on?" that the moment after you think this, get hit with a jump scare or too fast of a movement for your brain to process. Also, the typestyle/font used at the very beginning and during the small text scenes was an excellent choice and it works very well together. I absolutely love this mod!

If you play DDLC on a livestream (under certain conditions, such as direct streaming and with no third party between the stream and the viewers) Monika will try to jumpscare the viewers and the player. She will also attempt to reveal the player’s name, and it will only be visible to the player (she goes through your computer’s settings to see if there is anything that resembles a name used multiple times)

Probably one of the most important elements of a good horror game is atmosphere, and this game nails it all with its good sound effects and incredibly disturbing imagery. The game really makes you feel as though you are being watched, and I probably shouldn’t have watched this late at night

Sonic.EXE is nothing compared to Sonic.EYX. The unpredictability and suspense in Sonic.EYX is far worse than Sonic.EXE. In Sonic.EXE, things are more expecting and quite dull, but in here, it's like a nightmare.

(Disclaimer: I only made this theory up since I find this game beyond impressive and very fasinating.) I believe that Sonic.exe must've tried to interfere with the game's code, but it backfired due to him being a virus in all. It's safe to say that maybe Sonic.exe's file got in contacted with the game's cache and maybe caused him to lose control over his powers, it may be possible that it's file corrupted the game and now has control over the game's code. But beyond that, he's learning how to interfere with electronical devices, trying to warn those who play... Maybe Sonic.exe must've learned about Majin. Heh, who knows? Maybe he'll go for other games as well, like the "Learning with Pibby" stuff.

Something you missed at 11:08 - the program grabs your Windows username, so if you were using your own name it would have been a lot more effective

This game, unlike most other horror or .exe games, which often fall absolutely flat for me, in terms of scarryness, absolutely gets me, every single time i see it. The way it's all done, the slight elements of face-deforming horror that was so effect in stuff like the walten files and the sounds, together with the spritework and the atmosphere, are genuinly scary. Not in a horror movie kind of way, but genuine uncomfortable feelings rushing up my spine, throughout the whole game. Maybe it's the levels of bad that previous exe games reached that made this one stick with me from how different and GOOD it is, but probs to the people who made it.
