In terms of getting it signed off, you don't have to go to the station, if you see a cop parked off somewhere just ask him. I've also found the sheriffs in cupertino and cops at DeAnza to be a lot more easygoing. I'd probably try one of them.

You absolutely can film Officers whenever you want. Never let them attempt to intimidate you into turning your camera off. The only reason an officer would want you to turn off a camera is because they want to get away with abusing their power.
sometimes happens man. The two times i got pulled up, one was the first week with my license (didnt even have the license card printed lol) and second one was with a unregulated imported MX5 😂 murphys law, be 3 seconds there and get pulled
Oof. Yeah. I got pulled over three times with a suspended license. Because of an unpaid ticket. After thousands of dollars of tickets and insurance hikes I got it back. But I had to sell my car because insurance spiked to $500 a month.
I was there at the meet. That cop that pulled you over was one of the first cops there and he gave a ticket for obstruction to a mk4 supra that was parked in front of her friends. He was laughing after he left too. I actually passed by right after he pulled you over too. Now that I think about it, I think im the reason he said to move out of the way 😂. He was just trying to ticket anyone he could.
No plate? You could have dipped and actually got away with it. Although, a fix-it ticket is pretty much the best kind. Also, I'm not sure about CA but here in NY, a mechanic or safty and emission inspector can sign off on a fix-it ticket. It doesn't have to be a cop.

I know its stressful fr but always film cops that's our right. The fact that he tried to get you to stop speaks volume about what he's doing. Also when they ask you why they pulled you over they're looking for cause - don't say anything. Make them tell you. If you say too much they can and will use it to fuck you over.
The title 😂cops are a joke. Got a state ref when I was crusing (car was cold too) while people were racing around me. 100% you need to film any interaction with police bro don't sound apologetic either about it either. They tend to escalate when their ego feels threatened.
The other day I asked the same question to a youtuber named "migueldsm" and he told me to not compare myself to others and that we choose our own paths. So just a heads up, if the officer made contact with your camera or the person in your passenger street that would be considered assault in most states. Probably a good point if you want to go fight these tickets.
Just friendly advice, if a cop asks you why you think they pulled you over, don’t answer him. Just say no. Don’t self incriminate, he probably didn’t even hear your exhaust at such low rpm.
