Hoping to head to Oroville this weekend or next, was wondering which launch this is & what time the gate opens. I’ve only been there once (Stringtown). TIA.
The worms are always the deal on the school of fish. Great location you found. Quite honestly I'm to insecure about a open hook around a tree. My history of snags is bad with that setup lol. good eating for the week.
Lovely video I never thought of harvesting bass are they good eating. It’s good to see you take your girlfriend out there and catch her own way to go fun day on the lake!! Take care and God bless.
Spots and smallies taste great as long as they aren’t too big. Over many years, I’ve had a few smallies and spots that haven’t swam off after setting the hook. Fried em up and they taste great despite the general consensus that people don’t like anglers who harvest bass.
You have such awesome varied content. You are so lucky that you found a girl that is willing to share in your sport. I tried to get my wife to be my fishing partner but it never took. Get a camera for her boat so we can see her perspective too. Love that you are a conservationist and release the larger bass. Would love to see a few shots of you cooking and playing a fish dinner. Keep up the good work!
Yeah super lucky she enjoys fishing as well! Funny you mention that, I actually told her it’d be nice if we got her an actual yak setup as well! I’ve thought about catch and cooks before as well, maybe I’ll film one in the near future! 👀🔥
@@billbothelio You understand fishing and hunting are considered blood sports right. They did it go eat. It's only recently that we have turned it into a catch and release sport. Simon is using appropriate conservation measures and only taking small and medium bass while Kevin g the larger fish which are better spawners. If course your welcome to conduct cat h and release sport if you like. Just don't push it on others . Also maybe figure out how you justify torturing fish for your fun if you're no harvesting any for survival. Think about it.
