I don't think it's because they didn't want to. Never before have we seen such an empowered way of things with the internet and TV. Yes. But at the same time, we don't see the other thousands upon thousands of auditions that go on in between the few featured on the show. For every Jackie, there were probably 2+ dozen others similar to her that were horrible. But I definitely get what you're saying. He should know better than to pass judgement so quickly.

It's the common denominator. They are always humble & down to earth. These are the best auditions. I always look back to Callum Scott, Paul Potts, Susan Boyle etc. They all don't think much of themselves they all just love to sing and have normal jobs and normal lives.
